WTF Happened To This Celebrity? - The JoBlo series that examines the careers of stars and filmmakers who may have fallen out of the spotlight, and tells where they are now!
After his breakout role in 1995 with FRIDAY, comedian Chris Tucker became a household name from a memorable appearance as space deejay Ruby Rhod in THE FIFTH ELEMENT and his Jackie Chan team-up RUSH HOUR trilogy - which also made him the highest-paid actor in Hollywood at the time. But in recent years, the A-lister has become far more selective with his roles as he focuses on his faith. If you ain’t got s#!t to do, check out “WTF Happened to CHRIS TUCKER!”

I'm a bit unsure about liking or hating Chris Tucker. Yes, he has a certain charm and he can certainly act, but the stereotypical hyper-active, squeaking character he loves to portray does get on my nerves somewhat. Story time! So I met Chris Tucker the Atlanta Falcons versus Minnesota Vikings football game in 1999 (IIRC) just a few years after Friday. I saw him walking up the steps and nobody else seen him or recognized him. I was telling my friends that “Chris Tucker is coming towards us” and they just kept looking at me. I’m like “Smoky from Friday! Fucking Smoky is coming!“ And as he walked from front row seats to the 35th section one of my friends and I ran over to him a I wanted an Autograph. However, I was so caught up in the moment that I didn’t even realize I didn’t have anything for him to sign. That’s when I took off my hat and gave it to him! But I didn’t have a pen either! 😩 I was bummed out when all of the sudden he told me not to sweat it and pulls out a black ink pen of his own and signs my Vikings fitted. I was telling him how I went to Marshall University, and no Randy Moss from the WV days and that’s why I was there. He said Randy was coming to watch his comedy show and later and it was sold out. Again I was bummed. At the end of the game aftermost of the crowd to dissipated a female he was with came up to us and pulled me aside. Super something in my pocket and said it was from Chris. She slipped me three tickets to his show and I got to watch him do his stuff that evening and sit at the table next to Randy Moss and Chris Carter. To make things extra special, a young Cedric the Entertainer was there. Awesome dude!

@@theshadowman1398 thats been there for years now, I don't think it's ever coming out. Reason why I don't think it will is because as in the video mentioned it would cost too much to get them back together, plus Jackie has said before that he didn't enjoy the Rush Hours that much and there hasn't been a good script but he has been in other movies and some have had questionable scripts that make you think that maybe Jackie just doesn't want to do another one, but it also could be because of Brett Ratner sexual assault claims too. IMO there is a better chance of Shanghai Dawn than Rush Hour 4.

@@mysoncrumphaseveryinjury3853 Yeah I get what you mean. He does change when he has real admiration for the subject. But his "comedic" narration is a raw knuckle running up and down a rough rock of sand and salt. When I watched his Jet Li narration I found myself getting extremely excited and deeply depressed. Which would alternate on an minute by minute process at some points. Tbh I felt the same when he did the Bruce Lee one too. But I was too much and still are, in awe of Mr Lee to notice it straight away. I felt myself getting annoyed but I couldn't place why, as I were so immersed in the life story of Mr Lee and how much he was actually betrayed.
