I've worked in music for many years. I am even a one hit wonder - but my days as an artist were cut short by a physical disability. The point is, just shy of a few months of 25 years of working in what I love - I have absolutely zero idea nor interest in reading a graph. I can EQ a serious nightclub or DJ mixer (that's v v easy)... I am in no way an 'audiophile' because it seems for these people that equipment is the hobby before music. Isn't that like being into football, but you're more into boots & shin pads than the game? Music is the hobby & HBB is one of the few known guys to actually put significant emphasis on music. I don't want to sound mean, but I find it enormously difficulty to take anyone seriously about sound if they primarily listen to K Pop & aren't really music guys. Excuse my digression!

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviewsso true brother. I hope manufacturers will learn that it's becoming increasingly harder to pull the wool over consumers eyes these days. Having said that, I was contemplating the DZ4 but after your and Michael Bruce's initial reviews, I've decided to save up until someone actually produces an iem with an actual functioning passive radiator. Also, congrats on the 50k Chris.

Wow, thanks Chris for the video. Stuffs like this is right within my budget and could make it to the Xmas shopping list, so I’m glad you made this. While criticism can be tough to swallow, true engineers would welcome it (of course, not sure if actual engineers were involved in this). The Young Frankenstein thumbnail is a great touch for a series concept like this. This is like a DIY kit for people in the hobby. Man that letshuoer 's shell is even reminiscent of another brand that actually made another big mistake with drivers a while ago, yeah that brand starting with letter K, ending with Z. I didn´t think this brand would fall into such mistakes, but well this is the range of chifi produce, the other end of this range is also shown in this same video: exclusive releases for China market only, like this Aful model. Lots of brands release china-specific models, which I don´t get, unless the rest of the world's eardrums are tuned different. Thanks for video, it will be so useful for lots of people.

Wow, that's simply mind boggling, man. It's like they went out of their way to mess it up. Even if they had no idea what they were doing whatsoever it had to take some real bad luck to come up with such a bad design. Honestly, I'm quite bewildered. Wasn't expecting that from LetShuoer. They've never seemed to be extremely proficient in what they're doing, even despite having produced a good amount of earsets that were quite good. There was always some shortfalls or "quirks" to put it mildly, a certain lack of refinement dare I say. I've always felt like it wasn't due to deliberate tuning choices as much as some, less than obvious maybe, little mistakes/shortsightings. But this is on another level. I hope they will be highly incentivized to up their R&D game after this and grow further. They've got some talent in their team, that's for sure. Thank you for this video and, again, for giving a shout-out to Michael. He's a low-profile blessing in itself for this community, one of it's hidden treasures. On a somewhat same note, I can't help but find it strange that you've only recently hit 50k subscribers. This has become my favorite audio channel in the recent years, closely followed by Super Review. Have you lost your channel/subscribers for some reason at some point and had to accumulate them anew, by any chance? My memory may be missing something.
