Time for another analysis machine: 0:10 I think the Egg Lay stored the knockback of Ganon's n-air, so the egg went flying when the move is over. 0:28 ZSS's forward smash, in this case, didn't link correctly to eachother. Pichu entered it's landing animation after the first hit, which shrunk it's hitbox to make the second hit whiff. 0:50 Pac-Man's grab put Greninja inside the hydrant, and I think he pummeled to launch the hydrant, hitting Greninja. 1:25 Inkling threw out an aerial (most likely back air), which extended her hitbox into TLink's up air. 1:42 After the Gordo first hit Falcon and made the special effect, the Gordo hit him a second time. I think the second hit occurred through either jank Gordo hitboxes or the slant of Yoshi's Island. 1:58 Link's and Mii Swordfighter's up Bs have really jank hitboxes that send you in different directions, with strangely high knockback for linking hitboxes. I also think Bayo charging her smash attack also increased the knockback of the up B. 2:14 6:46 Smashville slant shenanigans have returned from SSB4 it seems. 2:29 DK hit Dedede with a back air. That part is easy. The weird part is the weird knockback DK received. Judging from the comment section, Dedede has a really weak Ryu dair-esque spike hitbox on his forward smash. 3:03 Pokemon Stadium has awkward ledges for recoveries like Olimar's. Not sure if Myran didn't get close enough to the ledge or not, but that is the only explanation I got. 3:23 Since Explosive Flame sends opponents upwards, Corrin got stage spiked by the very tip of Battlefield's ledge. 3:33 I think he slightly entered offstage when the Thunder spike hitbox hit him. DK's large body probably helped out on that as well. 3:45 Dedede forward smash's weird spike hitbox strikes again. 3:57 Like the Ganon f-tilt hitbox? Not sure if Diddy did something to extend his hurtbox towards it, but it seems like it was pure hitbox. 4:27 He was touching the side of the stage when he got hit by the up tilt, causing that stage spike. 4:48 Ganon grabbed Squirtle with the side B just as the water from Squirtle's Water Gun came out, causing them to fly away. 5:08 9:22 I think Cloud's hurtbox reaches at the peak of his up B before he actually reaches there. 5:30 I've seen numerous instances of DSamus' Charge Shot hitting opponents behind her. Not sure if DSamus' leg extended her hurtbox to the Counter, but I've seen Counter hitbox shenanigans before (especially with Chrom/Roy). 5:51 9:51 The dramatic zoom effects sometimes cuts in the weirdest of situations. 6:24 Aerial KO Punch can be both shielded and countered. 6:36 As explained by Wisititi in the comment section, the Wolf escaped out of the grab just as a pummel connected. Olimar's pummel, for some reason, can trip opponents. Can easily be done on Ice Climbers. 7:07 When K. Rool's armor breaks from a counter, for whatever reason, the knockback gets stored in his shield break animation. 7:31 It seems like Villy's water can interact with Link's down air. 7:44 Palu's up smash has a lot of active frames, and Ike got caught by it as he was under the corner of the ledge. 8:25 The purple pikmin extended the hitbox duration of Mac's forward smash, and Zephyr got caught in it. 8:51 Snake's forward smash is wicked powerful. Not sure if Sonic did anything to extend his hurtbox, or he got hit by pure large hitboxes. Since Sonic seems to be in the middle of his roll animation endlag, I am leaning towards the latter. 9:11 Daisy/Peach's up B has a rather high base knockback, which is how ROB got stage spiked to death instantly. It is the main reason why up B rage jank existed for her in SSB4. Daisy, in the other hand, got hit by a single hit of ROB's side B, which gimped her.

some of those are far more understandable than others. as one who mains the links, yes, the down air can bounce off strange things. if it has an active hitbox, you can bounce on it, and it operates a little differently when clash canceling. yoshi's egg rocket on the other hand... my best guess to the ganoncide is that squirtle launched his neutral special the frame he was grabbed, pushing the airborne ganondorf with squirtle still trapped in his clutch.

I bet most of these are glitches turned feature, like Ganandorf being pushed by water gun making him suicide or Link bouncing off the Villager's water animation. Others are intentional like Little Mac's air KO punch being weaker and so can be countered/shielded cuz most of a punches power is from the legs pushing off the ground. I'd say like 5% of these types of instances are actually "bugs" that they would consider patch worthy.

K.O. Punch does go through the shield. Snakes shield I guess is just to solid.

At 6:28, the KO punch was blocked by the shield bc it was used mid-air. KO punch only goes through on the ground.

No at 6:25 when little mac does the K.O punch hes still in the air, it only breaks through on the ground
