If u can't learn anything from him being interviewed, shame on u. I can say with CERTAINTY that my perspective on relationships hv broadened after discovering Patrice. His analogies are so on-point. It's always a treat to find one of his interviews. Hope ur resting well Mr. P.

While I do love Patrice, it’s really telling that his responses to Maron’s questions always involve him stammering and thinking until he can think of another bit from his act. And those bits are always hilarious and well-constructed, which makes you think that it’s a thoughtful response, even if the point he’s trying to make is misguided. It’s no wonder that thousands of internet sexists treat Patrice’s words like gospel.
@nathanchildress55962 жыл бұрын
He’s speaking the truth; even if we could never get away with saying it like that. Do everything your girlfriend says, never act in charge, and just see if she still finds you sexy after a while. Women are attracted to masculinity, so we shouldn’t be ashamed of what masculinity is. How many asshole guys do you see with hot girlfriends?

These are his life ruminations, his philosophy. Of course its going to be linked with his act but all those bits are based in the truth of his experience. Much like an author, a comedian writes what he knows. Labelling his entire view as sexist is reductionist to his point. he never claimed to be 100% correct hes just putting his thoughts out there.

Marc's typical line of questioning: Marc: Are you Jewish? I'm Jewish. Marc: You ever been to Israel? Why not? Marc: What do you think of Judaism? Are you an east coast Jew? Marc: Being Jewish is cool, don't you think? I suggest Marc schedule more black guests. The line of questioning would probably go something like this: Marc: Now, black guy, you're probably fully aware of the drain on society your race has put on the United States. Is this something that the black man has the interest and/or ability to improve? Black guy: *open mouth blank stare Marc: *quizzical blank stare Black guy: *quizzical blank stare, long pause Marc: ummm... Black guy: wey awl da wite wimenz be at??? Marc: Are you Jewish? I'm Jewish.
