You can drive the real 90s F3000 car on your own in czech republic. Ex Mark Webber car. Cost around 1500 a day.

schumiisking As someone that works at Palmersport, as an instructor, I think you'll find I'm talking anything but my friend ;) the bodywork has obviously been modified post-series, as well as the cockpit to update them and make them usable for the general public, and of course Audi's turbo lumps were replaced with the Jaguar when JP had Jaguar backing (their JPLM cars have the same engine, and they used to use XKRs in Palmersport's infancy) especially since the Palmer Audi chassis are pretty much two decades old but, sir, you are most definitely wrong. 😎

Here in Finland they have 2 Williams F1 cars from 2007, you can get to drive for payment and some lucky ones get to do it for free by participating in competition that Finnish F1 broadcaster has organized.

No doubt this car is detuned from its original specification. Very evident in the audio and acceleration. There are many F3000 onboard videos of hill climb cars and they are way faster than this. Makes sense from a business stand point since engines and transmissions are not cheap!

Barrichello said in an interview a year ago that shifter karts are the closest thing that is available commercially. Ofcourse it does not have the downforce, but the power to weight ratio of a kart can represent what it would be like to drive a F1 car with such power

In finland one guy rents a 2008 williams (nico rosbergs car) for a drive. i think it costs like 1200€ a day and it includes training with a f3000 car first.

There is a KZbinr called Vehicle Virgins, and he in October 2018 he drove the Jaguar R1 or the Arrows A22 in Dubai. So I think that is as close as you can get to driving an F1 Car. Driving an F1 Car.

I've driven this at palmersport and it was OK but didn't blow me away. They are only 250bhp. It probably is the closest thing any member of the general public will get but still miles away. Oh and mine broke down so I only had about 3 laps in it.

Most close thing to drive a f1 car is to drive an f1 car, but its not cheap i think its around 4000€ for 10 laps+ practice with something slower
