Just bought a new 2024 Edge ST. I looked at the ST Line but the ST eats it for lunch. Got the 401A and performance brake and tire package. The ST Line is pretty cool and has ok acceleration. Both look awesome!

former ST Line 2021 owner here, now into a Titanium 22.... awesome awesome machine! always in ECO and yet, it does fly !!...( this 24 made a cheap addition with those exhausts: mine are chrome visual tips, sporty look ) Horn has always been ugly on the Edges. I can attest not a single upgrade in that 24 compared to my 21. Interesting, since this 2023 was supposed to be the last one for Edges. Until the 2024 was announced. And yes, the Edge as a whole is a way better car than its Explorer brother, it even feels luxury.

How is it better than the explorer? Price wise? Bc those explorer’s ST cars are animals with the 3.0 eco boost

of course Exp is a bigger machines, 3 rows, big engine and pretty resistant to misuses, but when I shop, I goes farther. Edge has better trims, design and inside it really feels upscale, hands down. Explorers inside ? not so much, in fact I feel them like an average corporate fleet SUV. And alas, I really like the All Blk Interceptor, but as a whole, the Edge is way better pkg IMO @@LSXPhatal

In December 2023, I purchased a 2019 Ford Edge (as the name Edge is owned by Nissan in Australia, Ford renamed it as Endura). They were only available with the 2 litre intercooled turbo diesel. It produces 140 Kw (188hp) and 400 Nm (295 fpd) of torque and, as I don't really require anything more powerful - I am just loving it! Unfortunately, despite the generally favourable reviews, they didn't really sell that well, so Ford Australia stopped importing them. Pity.

I have a 23 St Line i just hate how the exhaust is. I wish they would’ve added the 2 that sticks out. I also wish they would’ve made the st line with 290-300 hp. Just to give it a little more razzle dazzle.

The exterior of the Edge is actually still quite reasonable looking. The interior though is absolutely horrendous. Come on Ford, put a little effort into it.

Plug a phone in and it’ll have android auto or apple car play which have better mapping systems than the usual built in one.

Same switch gear, instrument cluster, and steering wheel as my 2016 Fusion, which was the same as a 2013 Fusion. Ford takes this stuff too far.
