I test drove this exact model today. It was enjoyable to drive, good pickup from the 1.5 t engine, even going up intererstate 70 into the CO mountains. I was pleased they decided to include a spare tire in this model, they should include in the more expensive hybrids but they don't. The seat was pretty comfortable, didn't seem very cushiony on the bottom though. Quiet , attractive interior. I drove grey with light grey interior, looked good. For around the same price you can get a well equipped 2025 Camry LE Hybrid

I purchased the SE in solar silver last week. I like it a lot. It looks much better with tinted dark black windows. I think I’m going to change my emblems to black as well.

Nice look at the SE Accord. Personally I don't know why Honda would bother with it. I understand the polyurethane on a base trim. But on this. It is just sad. A half measure. Sort of a F U buy a hybrid looser. Directly from Honda motor Corp themselves.

I remember when the V6 engine was available in the Accord, now you can't get a V6. I have a 2013 Accord EX-L with the 3.5 liter V6 engine and 70,000 miles. I won't buy another Accord with it's weak 4 cylinder engines on steroids (turbocharged) to make more power. More proned to problems and more expensive to maintain or fix issues that will occur.

The price is too high for a non-hybrid model. I would try to get a Sport hybrid for just a little more than the SE sells for. The Sport is especially good value now that it has heated seats and rear vents and USB ports

It seems like they wanted to make a base model sport but they didn’t want to give it the sport name so they could give it the polyurethane steering wheel. I love Honda but why would anyone in their right mind pay 30k for a car with a rubber steering wheel?

Nice review. Good advice about running 91 Octane in that 1.5 Turbo. Read a lot about it blowing head gaskets running cheap fuel. Very disappointed with the urethane steering wheel. Gives the car a taxicab feel. Why, Honda? Civic seems a better choice unless you have very tall passengers.

The 10th gen was far more engaging. The 11th simply lacks fun and excitement. Honestly the 2025 Kia K5 gt line looks great. However the GDI engine still could be problematic long term...MPI would be better.

This or the 2025 Camry SE, in your opinion? I know it’s comparing this gas model to a hybrid, but I think the Toyota and Honda are the best options to consider in this segment, and obviously, hybrid is the only option for the Toyota. None of these car brands are nearly as good as they used to be.

They need more trims for the gas only model. Not just the LX and SE. Also, put sirius xm back in the Hondas.

I would recommend against singing praise about the 1.5T reliability. Accords with this motor are blowing head gaskets left and right. Could that be from lack of 91 Octane and lack of maintenance? Hopefully, but the 1.5T is a gamble with little evidence that Honda has fixed the problem. New car reliability and build quality, even from Toyota, is down the drain. I find it hard to imagine any new car sold today lasting 20 years. I hope I'm wrong, because I love the way the 11th Gen Accord looks.
@azizkizbayev439Ай бұрын
91-93 octane and oil change every 4k miles, seems like it fixes oil dilution and blown head gaskets. Its interesting that these engines can go 200+k miles if driven on the highway mostly
@DrMacintoshАй бұрын
@@azizkizbayev439 Unfortunately there’s just no way to be certain if those items do fix the head gasket issue. Most people aren’t anywhere near as diligent about their cars as they should be. These things will drop like flies in a few years from the abuse. Buying used and no maintenance/fuel records is going to be a major red flag.
