Pretty sure the song is about the idea of a perfect couple who knows that nothing lasts forever and beauty only ever lies in impermanence. So they're making the best of things while they can. Kinda reinforced by Hydra's "Covered By Roses" tbh.

This song is so beautiful! I cry each time I watch this music video. The man just reminds me of how God watches us each day and how our evil deeds make Him sad, but also how much He loves us no matter what we do. He wants to save us from sin and death just like He saved that little boy from being hit by that car. Hopefully one day soon we may all turn back to God and be saved. God bless us all.

This is the first within temptation video I ever saw :) It was maybe a year ago, I didn't know what the word "utopia" meant, i searched it on KZbin, the first page had their video on it and I clicked it, not knowing it was music.. It was the most wonderful sound my ears heard till then and I discovered the best kind of music :)! Thank you utopia, that was the best misclick EVER!

I can never get enough of this song. It really touches me, very deeply, and it breaks my heart. Just take a look at the world around us! There is so much suffering, war, hate, greed, evil. Sometimes I can't help but think - is it even worth saving? But then this video also encourages me, because at the end he saves one life. It may be just one, but that little boy is never going to forget that, for the rest of his life. And because of that, even if it's just one person ... it's worth it!
