All my life, I've missed the shotgun house my family of 8 was raised in, I still want one back

I am writing a research paper on shotgun houses in Louisiana. It was good to learn about the houses in Charlotte. Thank you.

I wonder if this ever happened? Anyone know? Lots of shotgun houses still standing and being renovated in concord…

How do you ensure that low income working families remain working ? Many times when low income housing is built, they become destroyed uncared for then become dilapidated and then end up a ghost or crime ridden community. Is there a way to ensure that no one moves into the community unless they are working (aka contributing) to a working community? Usually we have seen whereas when people do not actually contribute financially to the purchase of a home, it is not cared for. Even many high income renters destroy homes....it's not just many low income that do this. That's why renters are seen as a downside as many renters don't care because they don't own it. See it happening over and over for decades in our community. If one has to work and buy something they tend to take care of it.

I hope they move them to a historic park, museum or someplace stable that others can tour or live in
