Like for knives, depends what you need to do... it's a perfect,"self defense flashlight", easy to carry too...if I should walk in "the dangerous place",i would take a Olight warrior 3, for example...btw, great review as well

2:47 yes, they said the misalignment of the E7 was to keep costs down. I personally would rather pay a little more to have everything line up nicely. I wasn't that happy with the E7 and now Wuben no longer respond, such a shame. Yet again Wuben haven't been honest on lumen output. The X0 519A version had the firmware changed so turbo dropped to 250 lumens after 9 seconds, they refused to update their specs or even announce that they had it changed.

There's been issues in the last 5 or 6 of my WUBEN reviews, from poor quality, design and faults. E7 body lined up badly so struggled to fit in the head bracket, the E1 back fell off, an expensive X-0 switch was faulty. They are going downhill fast. A lot of people saying Sofirn going the same way but I've not really noticed.

@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Yeah, same with my E7's extension tube, had to unscrew it to fit in. Sofirn have actually started to pick up on their drivers now. After my negative SC29 review they took my feedback and announced a buck driver version. Now we also have the IF24 Pro using a buck driver. Wurkkos is now seeing the importance of regulated drivers too.

for tactical flashlight, I would expect a tighter beam. you are right to say that the beam is flawed. All of my Wuben purchases have been a disappointment when it comes to functionality.. when it comes to looks and appearance, they're great. But unlike most "EDC" weirdos, I don't buy my flashlights because of how cool they look. I buy them because I need it for work. your reviews actually seem to get down to the important part of a flashlight.. the flashlight. can't stand hearing someone yap on and on about how a flashlight feels in their hands while diddling it on camera without even turning it on and testing it.

I have no idea why this was so hyped. Honestly, it seems to me like what you would have seen in typical lights from about 10 years ago. I didn't like that, when you unscrew for the USB-C, the ring flops down onto the body, which could potentially cause scratching. I didn't like the "high, medium, low" [when half pressing the switch]. Prefer the opposite. And didn't like the beam profile. But much thanks for the review!!

I like this T4. It has a good throw and brightness in a very compact and cool design. Since it is more a thrower, it´s logical, the spill does not touch your toes! ! 🙄 The "hidden" usb port is a good and useful feature, I already have on my T1. I don´t like those cheap flappy rubbercovers on most flashlights.Some break off easily after a while or get lost, since I use my flashlights a lot in bushcraft and survival trainings and then you catch dirt and mud with the exposed usb c port. Maybe that´s why I have a different view on flashlights than a collector, who´s just playing around a bit with it and then puts it back in a vitrine and whining about scratches and secondary (subjectively unimportant) details, like "the usb cover does not align with the lamphead when screwed back into position"... so what?! Man, back in the 70s, when I started with outrdoor and climbing, I would have killed for a compact bright flashlight like this! Just my 2 cents.

TIR lens throwers are the floodiest lights around. Pencil beam with very wide spill. Sometimes for walking or hunting in vegetation, spill can be helpful in spotting roots by the feet or low branches by the heed.
