For Slide Coliseum I highly advise looking at the wr video because there is a tyre jump that the dev time doesn't use and the movement for the first 2 corners will make it considerably easier on you

@@thenameyoushouldknowthekin8998 Velo's Drive-Thru Danger is fairly easy to beat compared to Spyro Circuit or Gingerbread Joyride. He fell off the platform during the 2nd lap and that should give you more than enough time to catch up.

At least I’m not the only person who gets so frustrated with some of these tracks. When you said “shit barnacles” it made me piss. I’ve struggled on this track as I always lose my flame after the U-Turn section. Your method to hit the first pad after the section looks like a good way to counteract my problem. I was trying to land into a slide to keep the flame going which always makes me go wide around that pad.

Grats on beating Turbo track!! I agree imo it was the hardest track to win. You can definitely do Slide Coliseum, the trick is to always go for perfect boosts & cutting grass towards the end. Definitely would like to see your top 5 favorite tracks & hardest tracks in Dev times. Keep up the awesome work, patience is the name of this game :D

Lewis, try to use the Drift style on Slide coliseum, is the only track I changed engine and it worked quite well for me! Also, don't torture yourself too hard with the time devs, you'll beat 'em, I'm sure of that. Good luck with the rest of the tracks!

if you look at most of the dev times, he makes a ‘mistake’ on lap 3 on a lot of the tracks. I can gaurentee that these are intentional. Willy P is no joke.

ItsMrBison These times really give players the opportunity to learn how to start attempting world records, so an intentional hiccup here and there definitely makes sense. There really aren’t any tracks where there isn’t some sort of forgiveness.

There are four really hard tracks in case of the developer times. I rank them in the following order: 4. Slide Coliseum 3.Deep sea driving 2.Crash Cove 1.Turbo Track It took me over 300 attempts to beat turbo track. Pure torture but hey congratulations on beating the two hardest tacks. It will only get easier from here. Edit: wow only 85 attempts. You got really lucky there.

dude, go to options and disable intro for all tracks, it's a "must-do" tip for grinding time attack. Btw I've been watching your videos, I much enjoy them. I'm doing the devs times aswell, it's interesting. GL with dragon mines, out of time, deep see driving and even that slide coliseum can be tough ;) You'll spend hours on them..

Damn dood you're using the analog stick? It's 100% worth it to get accustomed to playing with the d-pad. Makes u-turning a whole lot easier. Or you can be like TheRedhotBR and switch to the d-pad when you need to u-turn and use analog for everything else. Seems to work really well for him.

One of the main problems you are having when keeping the flame is that the drift boosts you do are not full. Many of them are only "good" and even the "perfect" ones could be fuller. The amount of reserves you get from the boosts rises all the way through the meter and "good" boosts are only able to maintain the amount of reserves you have, not build it up. Try to find lines that allow you to make the boost meter fuller and you will find a lot more success with keeping the flame. Also, at 4:00 you had a great idea! I would encourage you and all the other people struggling with these times to watch some videos of good times or maybe even the world records to build an understanding of how the track can be driven well. It is way more effective to develop a strategy than banging your head against a wall when you don't know what you should be doing.

Love your content but that ethan guy was right a bit, you do a lot of boosts which are hair away from the perfect bracket, but good doesn't give you nearly enough reserves. 2 perfect ones are enough to maintain bf. Congrats though, took me a couple of hours to pull it off as well :D

Small addendum, I had issues with perfect boosts as well, but I loaded up Rocky road with a second controller idling and just boosted around in the pit until I got some muscle memory to continously fire off perfects.
