This HD01 makes a great gift for close friends and relatives! I know my sister would like something like this as she can use the laser pointer for her lectures and as an EDC item in her handbag! She is also an avid runner and cyclist, therefore the HD01's beacon RGB lights might come in handy on her bike. 🔦😀 Personally, I prefer lights with removable lithium ion cells vs the sealed or the proprietary type, so I'll keep my Sofirn IF23. I would gift a HD01, but wouldn't buy it for myself. 🙂

A good idea for all your viewers out here with might be to take the light outside at night, and see how it lights up a field, and how accurate the color rendering is at night, like the foliage, trees and flowers, cars, and buildings. Also, you could test the long distance visibility of the green laser, like on a water tower, buildings, etc.

Yes, the laser would have been ideal, but the main light isn't strong enough for my limited camera to pick up at night, even its turbo mode. I find flashlights with a heavy throw, and huge lumen floods to be ones that I can accurately film outdoors.

Hi Todderbert, thanks for the review. Wow, the Wurkkos HD01 seems like a very nice multi-flashlight. It has great features like USB-C, but what I absolutely love about this multi-flashlight is that all the modes are available when you are charging the flashlight. I also like that it has a magnetic base; it's very nice to have in a flashlight when you're working on something. So I might buy the flashlight. I also want to say that I really like my latest addition to my flashlight collection, which is the Sofirn SC-13, a wonderful mini edc flashlight. Yep, it's starting to get darker up here in the northern part of Sweden, so it's definitely starting to be flashlight times.Take care Todderbert and have a nice evening.

There is definitely a noticeable laser intensity between the two lights! Wurkkos looks TWICE as bright, to my eyes. I wish you had some way to measure the milliwatt output for the comparison…

Not sure, but it may be above allowed limits for the US...not stated anywhere. It is brighter than the Olight Arkfeld.

21:25 _"These buttons should be reversed, the main light should be the front button"_ Hi Todd, I'll hazard a guess that the developers had mulled on the button positions and really thought about this. I think they decided on the present layout as Wurkkos felt this is more logical with the laser switch in front, not at the back. If the main light were to be the forward one, there is the likelihood of accidentally activating the laser by the lower part of your thumb. It's also assumed that feeling for the first button from the back is more intuitive in the dark. Not everyone who will be using the HD01 are flashlight fanatics, therefore it's more logical to place the lesser used button further forward. Muggles are also very likely to appreciate a multi-function light with a sealed battery as they don't want to bother with swapping cells on the move. A camping and hiking enthusiast is also more likely to carry a more powerful tactical flashlight with a 21700 cell and they would not take something like the HD01 as their only source of light. 🙂

Others have mentioned the button locations should be reversed. I get where you are coming from, but if you use it, you will agree. I kept hitting the wrong button, because I wanted the main light in the dark, and I naturally reach for the forward button...boom laser...not what I wanted. Sealed battery is good for those who want to charge, and go and don't mind throw away devices. There is a huge segment of my viewers who will only buy a flashlight if the battery can be changed. I personally will be bummed to pick this light up in the future, and find the battery is dead, and the model is no longer made...sure there could be better ones in the future, but one never knows :)

@@todderbert Agree with you from a flashlight enthusiast's POV that the button functions should be reversed. If Wurkkos ran a poll on Facebook asking its followers to vote where the main light button should be, I'll bet 80 percent will vote for the front button. 🔦😊 On the other hand, if the poll were to include the general public who can't tell a Cree XHP70.2 emitter from a Luminus SFT-40, the poll results will be more interesting indeed. ☺️

@@StratmanII I just don't see the average consumer buying this on a whim. I'll bet simple keychain lights are number one sellers for most flashlight companies.
