Hi. I went hunting in your area recently. Nice to see your vids. I'm also a new player. Some tips that may help you too. Maybe you already found this out in the meantime. - There is a creature to tile ratio for the deed. If you have a ratio lower than 15 then you have increased risk of miscarriage and disease. Go to the Settlement / "info" menu for this. - Horses can go up/down a max slope of 40. Any higher and you get "stuck". But you can dismount, lead and go down with climbing then ride again - cows (and horses) are a main source of hides that can be cured to leather. There is a whole crafting system based on leather. - When breeding you can also breed in bad traits. You see more traits the higher yous AH skill. The list is on the wiki.

This game always felt like a tech demo to me

It’s so much more. You do have to give it a few weeks to let it grow on you and reveal its full potential. Best MMO I’ve ever played.

Yes... your Percent Chance to Hit is 92% --- but even if you Hit there is a chance for the MOB to dodge... or for your "hit" to glance off it's armor and such... so the TINK sound you hear is a Glancing Hit --- the WIFF sound is a Miss and when the mob "Dodges" that is a miss because they Dodged your Hit... :-)

You should build a watchtower, when you type "help" in local chat then when in range guards will come help you. Verry handy when dealing with trolls. The cows you can milk with a bucket or small barrel and make cheese of it. With the cheese you can make pizza's and such, those wil fill up your stamina better, also you have to eat then less often. when the cows are fat when they die they give alot of meat when butchered.

Happened to me in Ark. Sign on feed the babies and log. Raising a boss army... but not doing the things required to wield it against the bosses (hunting artifacts). Currently evaluating whether I would be happy with Ark if I turned it into a baby raising Farming Simulator.

Agressive Combat is best for any 2h weapon (slight incr to 2h weapon speed and lower Defense) --- Normal is 1h w/ shield or 2 x 1h weapons (balanced def and offence) ..... Defensive is only to take least damage if you happen to be tanking for a group maybe?

Is there a mechanic that keeps other players from walking off with your pinned animals?
@SuperBitsandBob3 жыл бұрын
Yeah people can't pass the gates to the area unless you give permission.
@saltheart20232 жыл бұрын
You can set permissions on deed land so others cannot lead your animals... you can also Brand (using branding iron on deed) your animals and they are protected out in the world as well... Wurm has come a very long way... it is amazing fun! Medieval Simulator really!

I'm assuming this is in 4k or 2k rez? I have mine on max settings but only on 1080p and my Wurm doesn't look this good.

I think I was playing in 4k and downscaling in OBS to 1080p

The combat seems a bit clunky and slow. I don't know if that's because of your skills or weapon, or just the way it is. Cheers!
