I have a 2 year old bloodhound named waylon. I also have teenagers. When they go for walks we go find them! Waylon loves it. Last halloween he found the kids thru all the people out trick or treating!! Im trying to transition into finding people he dont know.

I think this is wonderful here in front Royal we have a training center I assume that most of the dogs are for drug detection but I understand that the right dog can detect cancer gasoline garments we even had one that bayed going down route 66 they quickly turn the car around . Went back to the nearest crossover and found the exit off the highway that the dog was telling them was the way to go

There is no need....blood hound have been sniffing sense before 1066BC i saw and thats just cuz lack of paper to keep a record.....they will find anything. TOP of the nose world...and cute!

Just use a ziplock bag. Double bag if you like.

Get like a willing vacuum seal bag and seal it, put it in your freezer. If hopefully never you ever need it they’ll let it get to room temp to release the scent.

True but a basset in my own experience will choose to search or choose to nap. Sometimes within the same minute. lol. I love love love Bassetts.
