After the story I fell in love with Shorekeeper. Her growing curiosity about human emotions, culminating in her heartfelt confession of love to Rover, was both poetic and deeply touching. There’s an innocence and beauty in how she slowly discovers what it means to feel. Shorekeeper and Rover's journey from their first meeting to her confession of love has been such a beautiful evolution. When they first met, Shorekeeper was purely a creation of purpose, an unfeeling tool, born from the remnants of a dying world, designed to assist Rover in his/her mission. But once I saw that final scene where we save her and end up on the shores of the Black Shores' beach, it all clicked. The emotion wasn't from our understanding and connection to the Shorekeeper, as we lost our memories, but of the Shorekeeper's connection to US. She waited to meet us again for so long, imagine what must have been going through her head while watching over us. The consideration of how different we could end up being, if we could end up being anything like the Astral Modulator, the one she fell in love with. In the end, we are still that same person she had these feelings for, and it seems she really began to understand it was love right after her sacrifice, during what seemed like her last chance to speak to the Astral Modulator before being subjected to endless torment so the Tethys System can function. While I was watching that last scene, thinking of the whole story from her perspecive almost made me shed a tear, which takes a LOT of effort for media to do to me.

I agree but I think the"love" part was intentionaly meant to be vague. "could this feeling be... love?" is her trying to determine emotions like how she asked if what she felt was happiness. While there are romantic undertones, it could also work in a platonic way considering there are 2 canon MCs.

I'm not a fiction writer, but I am in the creative industries and have two art degrees. The narrative is pretty phenomenal, I agree. I talked about references to things such as the Babylon tower, the growing physics theories of our current time (have they worked through the general relativity post-Lament?), and the possibility of time and space travel as I played through the 1.3 story. I must agree with how much one can feel the love poured into this game. I don't know if you also played Kuro Games' other game, Punishing: Gray Raven, but I feel like our character (the main character, Rover here and Commandant in PGR) has a very similar touching and moving heroic personality and I cannot wait to see how this is going to unfold. I have an idea of the ending just from some sentences in the 1.3 story alone but I cannot wait to see it unfold myself.

after i finished the main quest for 1.3, this thought came to mind "a game worth playing vs a game youre looking for the worth to play." now as a test for those who play gacha games, what came to mind for each? that is why i pity others who play other gacha games. Whether it be Hoyo games or any other. WuWa can topple it as time goes by. The combat and music can align, especially in epic moments. The fighting looks like its straight out of cinema. The cinematography is on overdrive. The depression isnt being supressed. I dont know whats more immersion for a player. But for me, when cutscene and gameplay are almost entirely the same. Imagine being at a climax of a story and then its a turn based game where u take turns hitting each other. Imagine the combat being lackluster and the enemies are simply just tanky and sponges that just stand there not fighting back. Kuro, the men who keep their promises and show their passion in their games. Everyone else simply just looking to make a profit. Hoyo, the people who have commitment issues.

Cuz you know majority of gacha community knows and plays hoyo's game, and specifically genshin. ZZZ and HSR are good i guess, just not my preference of turnbased, and ZZZ is just teenagers' wet dreams with the kind of characters they release and their character trailers... but yeah. They have all that money and deliberately choose not to make a good game in every aspect. But then youre right, that that doesnt matter to them. This story was absolute bunk. Shorekeeper literally just fawns over him and repeats lines. "Welcome home. Welcome home. My promise to you. Fulfill my commitment. What emotion should I feel? What feelings should I express? This is the necrostar. This is the necrostar. Black shores black shores black shores astral modulation abnormal frequency emotions feelings frequencies." We learned NOTHING about the Rover except "you've been here before." Youhu showed up to deliver one item and they VERY AWKWARDLY changed subject from whatever she was there for. The setting is beautiful, sure, but the writing is just NOT HERE. I actively HATE the Shorekeeper for being a lobotomized self-insert harem fodder character just like Yangyang now that I've had to suffer through her dialogue.

My favourite part is after the story ends you can go back to the piano and she is waiting there always, I have all ways wanted gacha games to put their characters in the game world so you can visit them and they just doing their thing and no other gacha game does this you see the character in the story maybe in some side quests but then there us no way for u to see them in the world. If you dont know how to meet her again just go to the piano or where she sleeps (idk whats its called/ the therapy chair) and select "go to ..." Option.

1.3 was peak and I berely care about gacha history since they have too much ups and downs but 1.3 was a straing line to greatness. I'm impressed how good they evolved the history from 1.0. I spend everything on her but I only got one copy... I'll farm more to try get her to S1 since her 1st copy makes her stacked. BTW... at "My shorekeeper" I was clapping, no joke. Spoilers for end of quest but: My god, SK is the most precious character ever. Her scene where she admits she loves you before fading away and the scene where she cries and calls you her Star... it felt like that scene from Re:Zero where Rem consoled Subaru and told him how much she loves him. Also, the whole ending arc reminded me so much of Your Lie in April that i got emotional. If you know, you know. Its an exceptional quest. Pacing was definitely jarring before going into the Tethys depths, but i enjoyed it so much

spoiler. i got shorekeeper and i almost stop playing because i thought shorekeeper is going to die. LMAO i was like. "If shorekeeper dies im going to quit this game because i dont plan on using a dead character" so freakn glad she survive. and MALE ROVERS EAT WELL IN THIS VERSION! Shorekeeper is in love with rover. so glad im using the male rover haha lest goo!!

I honestly felt the story was rushed, we barely got to know the characters and then suddenly we're tearing space and time for them? Not to mention all that drama just for the character to come back minutes later... Like, come on, not only is shorekeeper hardly likeable (because of the lack of personality), we also got so little time to warm up to her.. There is also the whole simping over MC thing I don't really like, they kinda went overboard this time. It was beautiful though, really the best Wuwa visuals to date. About story though, 1.1 remains undisputed.

Its a fanservice not only for Wuwa players, but also Evangelion x Gurren Lagann enjoyers. The themes of the story had some similarities with Evangelion, also a little sprinkle of Gurren Lagann which *chef's kiss*.

Perfect is a bit of a stretch, but it was an excellent update. As far as Shorekeeper goes, she's amazing aesthetically, kit and exploration-wise. Amy only semi-complaint looks-wise is that'd like to see more of her very nice colored hair, but even her veil looks great. There is this discreprency where she can amazingly scale some mountains as a butterfly, but gets stuck on some small stuff. The map's visuals were great, although there are 3-4 separate maps, and I generally prefer the least amount of separate maps in an open world game, but admittedly these maps do indeed make sense to be treated as separate spaces. The story was also very nice, great cinematics and made Shorekeeper even better as a character. My only issue was the resolution. I don't wanna spoil, soI'll only say it in a vague form, but fon't read if you don't want any kind of info on the end of the story quest It took away from the meaning of the "sacrifice" when later "it" was seemingly easily replaced afterwards. Originally the MC's "decision" had real weight, but the story just automatically resolved the "consequences", which made the final struggle weirdly pointless, as the "system" was never really in danger

We all should give feedback to Kuro say that reminiscence, nostalgia, introspection are the right vibes they should be moving forward with, the best examples to take references from are Ender Lilies and Nier (Replicant and Automata). The story still have some holes here and there if being nitpicky but overall it's sure getting better. Also, Kuro really should let their staffs watch some slice of life animes too, because it will help them a lot with the story especially the interactions between characters, the CEO of Project Moon able to write the amazing stories for Lobotomy Corp, Library of Ruina and Limbus Company thanks to his experiences with slice of life animes.

Shore Keeper looks great with Changli, now we just need a green one to complete the RGB. Also femc's VA is still ass, I don't know if it's the mixing but she STILL doesn't sound natural especially near the end.

The story was beautiful, I loved it, many people complained saying all the girls fall in love with Rover when Shore herself said that she was with him for thousands of years, it's obvious that she loves Rover, and I loved the "welcome my guardian" and "welcome my star" songs. I don't ship characters, but the relationship between Rover and Shore seemed very father and daughter or friend to me (I chose the male Rover). The story was really spectacular ❤️

"End of Wuthering" was a strawberry on top of beautiful 1.3 cake. I'm pretty sure SK va is the same one as Melina from ER. The way she says certain words is identical for me to not hear Melina.

the thing that I like is that we know ShoreKeeper is going to be a popular chara, Kuro not only made her looks sooo good in game, made a super good MSQ surounding her, AND her kits is so good even 0+0 is super good. Not like some game where popular charac always gets lousy or shitty kits that only works normal when you pull 2+1

i like 1.3, but the issue is everything to do with the updating. Pre downloading the gmae literally does not work, i had to download it twice. Every time a new update comes and you update it, the first hour is just lag, sound issues ect. The scene where rover saves her was literally 10 seconds late. I have a very good pc( i can play anything) but for some reason the update is always broken the first day

My favorite part was the port city of guixu story segment. That hit me hard. The way you entered, the music, the scenery through the glass of the whole city. Especially in the small restaurant area, you can read up the small things of mundane life, before everything came collapsing down. Easily best part for me.

this update is really good, the music is good, the new map is good, the VA is not bad, the story is good and espescially the character design of shore keeper is amazing, they fix almost all the thing that i complained about when the game release in less than a year damn it!!! it amaze me!!!! Wuthering Wave is amazing keep doing good Kuro i will support you, unlike a certain gacha game that never listen and never improve WW show us what improvement are, fortunately i decide to not abandon this game despite their messy release, my patient has pay off

as a story skipper at every chance, i was glued to this one patches story. No half and hour of nonsense waffling for the mere sake of it. Just great voice acting and solid story that made you want to listen. Also, I now have myself a Shorekeeper plus her weapon.

I have one nitpick. I want to be able to toggle the gourd on/off. It looks weird on the characters. It just floats behind them like a fortnite backbling. Shorekeeper doesn't even have one, and i love that they did that bc it really interferes with certain character designs for me.

the only think made the game less enjoyable is they put the boss of the bluehead after the story and i just hated it i am resin capped 240 400 for days now cuss i just wanted to farm for her had her C1 i just don't wana do the story right now and i also missed doing the abyss so yeah quite frustrated also echo capped cus its impossible to seperate good from bad don't have hrs of worthless time to check and see whats good i feel like wuwa sucks at places where genshin is good at and genshin sucks at places where wuwa is good at but people care about not getting frustrated over little things and i think thats where wuwa fkd at.

I loved this patch, i couldnt stop playing once i started, only stopped to eat, the visuals on the map & shorekeeper herself absolutely beautiful, the voice acting stepped up by leagues, yang yang at the start had so much feeling in her tones, the story is about as good as gets for gacha, i was extremely satisfied with the work kuro did on this patch.

The only thing I don’t like is having to complete the story line to level up shorekeeper it’s making me skip or rush the story line since it’s story gated. I wish they did the hsr thing where you can access bosses early for a new character and take time to explore story
