Big tip from me: dont use your blue pulls on the character banner, use it on the weapon banner instead. Maybe get your initial 5 star for 50 pulls and after that go for weapons. Maybe you still also get another free 5 star from the selector, not sure if thats still a thing. Either way the standard 5 stars apart from verina are quite shite and you will get them from losing 50/50s anyway. Having those 5 star weapons for your dps and sub dps is gonna be a lot more valuable in the long run.

Tips from a random here who likes to get to endgame content fast: 1) hypercarry comps are the cheapest way to rush endgame, so planning for it early will keep progression feeling good (do not raise sub dps or healer until 3 main dps characters are done) 2) another way to rush dps building is understanding that echoes and weapons can be swapped between characters, so building one dps could also mean you are investing in another future team Ex: building havoc rover as a dps shares a weapon and echo set with camellya, both are havoc so building a different element like encore to account for resistances gives a faster way to clear tower. in this example, changli shares a weapon with rover and echo set with encore so she could be raised relatively cheaply to boost the damage of whatever team needs it. this is also an added consideration for which characters one may be interested in. 3) waveplate refills are not very good till around UL 40-60. Personally I started using them at 50 4) tacet field farming is only good at high DB, around 18+ 5) powercreep has not really set into the game yet, so the best character to save for right now is shorekeeper (ofc priority in gacha is always your favorite character). almost all main dps characters have f2p teams that can full clear tower. my tedtalk is done

Can I build my Spectro and Havoc Rover? I really like the MC, and I saw some videos that Rover can still clear the tower. I fairly new to the game and Im skipping Carlotta and Roccia for Shorekeeper.

@LalalalaMhie havoc rover can clear tower, and shorekeeper will make it even easier. I'm pretty sure spectro can clear as well, but it may require more investment. MC is def good, but i would only focus one mc element to start.

Picked it up a few days ago and just finished the story, I was like wtf is that it? where's the rest of it?? After playing genshin, the story being so short was a shock! so now trying to work out what to do next, clearing out side quests I suppose!

TBH this is my version of the guide for Gacha banner 1) Pull for every character's first weapon later. 2) Limited Weapon is only useful for MAIN dps units, not support or sub-DPS. With this, anyone should have spare resources and get every key unit to clear any end game Now for other staff? 1) Train counter-attack and dodge. 2) Make sure your relics are like 50% crit rate and 200%+ damage except for support. 3) Up every echo at level 10 first to see the correct sub-stats and go all in. 4) Farm echoes when you are guarantee to have 5 star not before that. Its this simple honestly.

The story is hella good. I skipped a lot of parts like random taking to a guard about the danger to come etc. things that didn’t add to the plot. But always listened to main characters Carlotta my fav character. Got her weapon and sub dps. Gotta save up now and skip next banner

I made a new account for playstation and i read and watch everything because the Story has to be good for me to stick to a game. I'm union lvl 40 and my date bank is at 20 , I'm just starting the black shore quest but i wanted to 100% the old map first. "Don't waste your waveplates". "Don't waste your Resin". "Don't waste your stamina".... I really hate this tip that's given for every beginner tips video. This is only relevant for someone who's reached a high level where the waveplates are actually meaningful for high quality farming. Early in the game when your rank is low and you can't get these resources, you can use your waveplates for whatever you want. You can even ignore using them, and you definitely don't need to stress over not using them on any day. You don't need to stress over dailies, stamina, banner schedule, events and meta. Fuck that noise, just play the game at your own pace.

My opinion on the whole "don't waste your stamina/waveplates/resin" thing is it literally doesn't matter because using all your stamina is just going to get you to higher levels faster. Yes technically they're more valuable later on but if you're using all your waveplates earlier, you just progress faster regardless. Like you said, just play the game at your own pace, it doesn't really matter.

The issue with this argument of just playing at your own pace is these live-service games generally make sure this mindset hurts your progress and account. The better balance is part of yours and the other reply here, just spend it on what you need and want but still do spend it all to level up as much as possible. Still different from "don't waste on this or that" but better than not using it. For newcomers, not being able to clear events to get some of the pull currency hurts especially when it's not even the hardest missions at the end. Ironically, they gotta actually play the game and at least pass that threshold. With WuWa, it bumps up higher than the general gacha. Definitely not quite a casual-friendly game compared to most gachas, even if they give trial characters to use. It's kinda refreshing for a gacha game honestly. And some outside of the gacha space are considering 2.0 update puts it on par with premium price games instead of other gachas.
