I play their other game, Punishing Gray Raven since its global server release and 100% Kuro is very responsive to feedback from its launch until now almost 3 years in its life cycle! They also give out a lot of the limited characters for free, it's a p common occurence.

That's great to hear! I have a question for you, as someone who has played a gacha by kuro already. Is there any kind of power creeping? Or can older 5 stars generally keep up and complete newer events and endgame? I'm planning to just pull for male characters and since they're not the majority, I also plan on going for copies on their reruns. Any advise is appreciated!

Newer characters will always be stronger, BUT they do give "Leaps" to older characters which is basically a system that adds or reworks their core mechanic so that the powercreep gap is a lot smaller. For PVE events, it doesnt matter, all characters can complete them even the hard ones like Babel Tower. Another thing id like to add is some Meta characters are given to us for free as well!

every time i see people say that the gane is being doomposted and then the examples they show are either an obvious joke like the Twitter ss he showed of the bug thread, people sharing funny bugs they find, or the reddit ss he showed that is straight just not doomposting at all because if you read it all it does is point out real issues and then say they will still enjoy the gane. Im also incredibly tired of people who didn't have as many issues saying it's people playing on under requirement devices that's the problem when it's very obviously a server issue or poor optimization. It just feels like anyone who points out any critique at all or makes a joke is called a doomposter for no real reason.

My only pain pionts for the game are the voices cutting before they're finished playing, some translation issues, and Yangyang's direction being fairly dull. Beyond that I havent had any performance issues, nor seen any bugs play out in my dozen or so hours of play since launch. All my time is on pc though so there may be things I don't know about on mobile, or lower spec pcs, but even then most of the complaints seem way blown out. Launch has been great for me so far, and the slowness of the story in the begining is well made up for in how cool it gets later in.

Personally had almost flawless performance after the first initial patch 1 day after release. I can feel the pain of someone trying to run the game on an iPhone 7 but that kind of tech is literally too old for modern games.

I think most people have that dialogue cuts including me, I think it'll be fixed after some patches tho. And for performance issues try changing some settings on the control panel for your graphics card, it helped with mine. Though, I think it'll also be patched pretty soon

The chapter end boss of this game does not even let you use your own team. In a game where the entire point is learning and building your team. This is not just a little problem, but a gross misunderstanding of what people want in gacha games. They spent a lot of resources on that entire sequence and the boss fight itself and it is the OPPOSITE of rewarding a player for all the work they spent on their team. Kuro has a lot of learning to do when actually designing a game outside of combat.

Ah yes normalizing bugfest, stutterfest and even some people experiencing crash multiple times game at launch, if you don't experience it doesn't mean it's not a problem a couple thousands people is not just some numbers it's ton of people having issue "it's just day 1, just wait couple days/patches" they do couple cbt for some reasons, setting and optimizing the game and servers it should've been anticipated, but no its just doomposting amirite. Still have issues with NPCs being really low render, but no lag anymore or crashes ( though my game never crashed to begin with ) The only thing i think super sucks is some of the EN VAs, female rover is a stand out for a super lack of emotion.

That i pretty much agree. I usually go for EN dub to understans better, but Wuthering Waves has some of the worsr en dub i've ever seen in a gacha game (which doesn't surprise me as Pgr didn't have good dub either). The only reason as to why i still use the en dub is because some dialogues cut from the dialogue boxes. Also, Male Rover is also very emotionless

Wuwa has one of the worst EN Dubs, most of the gacha games I have played I always sticked with EN but it seems this time I have choosen JP Dub, EN Dub feels robotic hopefully they can find more experienced VAs in the future.

And it's not in the EXCELLENT state at all. With 2060s ryzen3700x 32gb ram m2 ssd - i have constant fps drops to 50, no matter which settings i set (even on lowest).

Sometimes day switches to night in an instant randomly while exploring. Whole background turns into pitch black and characters sometimes has blurry or shadow textures are out of place.

I'd say you are really burying your head in the sand regarding issues WW has. It's good they are giving compensation rewards but actually fixing the problems would be better. Textures still fail to load even on NVME drives, music is bland as fuck, network is shit with constant disconnects. On PC game can't remember my login so I have to type email and password every time. And I still can't see which boss material character needs to prefarm before level 50. Whole game needed couple more months in the oven to cook.

They set a release date, They didn't notice the problems (But considering how big the game is its no wonder they didnt notice). No ones at fault, But it did show that they actually give a damn about their game. idk how the Fanbase really affects the release date? since in the end its the company and the devs' choice to set it. But at least they learned from the failure and they can be more careful. I believe delaying it wont help much, a game this big can only be debugged by a few members of the team until they run out of time. Debugging still costs them since equipment usage and all that.

The quest with clearing the Flaming Sea out temporarilt softlocked at a black screen for about 45 seconds before resuming normally. Got a bit worried. Genshin has softlocked me multiple times in the Sumeru NPC fetch commissions and absolutely did not let up.

Tbh ill just Play WuWa. And lets be real. To all the ar 55 or more Travelers, worlds just basically empty. Login do Dailies, get primo log out, Login do dailies , get primo log out rinse and repeat. If you finish everything there is nothing basically you can do in genshin and it feels soo empty. Until WuWa Dropped. Some of the Genshin fandoms are just doomposting. And some players are very impatient. As if Genshin was perfect at Launch. Genshins fix was like in the patch of 1.1. I feel bad for the Devs for Overworking so with little playerbase left in WuWa, i will stay. Idc if Natlan or the Twins story continues or Clorinde Drops. Ill still focus on WuWa more since the combat is soo cool and way more challenging! So what one player doesn’t see a a big deal will stop another player from continuing to try the game and Kuro will loose potential paying players with each of these bugs. Doesn’t matter how much currrency of 5-stars they’ll give out for free, if you can’t actually play the game because of performance issues.

Maybe it really needed a CBT3? I honestly think that bugs on launch are common but I honestly think they were too ready to fix these. If they had more time to polish the game they'd release withing ZZZ, Natlan, Elden ring DLC updates. This is the time they'd ideally want to release. WW is a game of an amazing quality. Graphics, animations, movement, complex combat. Even story is GOOD. It just starts pretty badly and I'm baffled how they could make such poor beginning, when overall it's good. They just have to solve issues that are still left and take care of optimization so people can experience this higher quality. On low graphic setting and with higher ping this quality is just wasted and players won't even know what they are missing. I have huge respect to Kuro and I understand why they rushed the game, as it was a race with Hoyo. I hope game will be developing very well 🌹

the problem is with the ACE that is embedded in the game, the software has a history of causing problems and is made by Tencent. this thing running on background is the potential reason for the lag.

The game is completely unoptimized (getting 45-60 fps with an RTX 3080, but with stuttering that makes it feel like 20 fps), unbalanced (because they changed a core combat mechanic before release), the story is mediocre with horrible writing, and the OST is forgettable at best. But some kids are happy because they get free pulls, and that's all that matters for them in a game... Being a gacha addict is a mental illness, normal people don't play games for rewards and free stuff, we play for the gameplay, the world, and story the game offers.

They still exist and are very serve to point where people can’t logg in or can’t even move their characters around normally without frame drops never mention trying to fight, lagging, the game completely crashing down on them, login timeouts or even being completely unable to log back in. This is completely different from having some minor issues of wrong shading. Get a reality check bro! I see constantly content creators acting like “uhhh I play just fine” (because they play on a high end handing PC) and “you’re at fault, why are you trying to play it on your old mobil device?” Especially since people, who play on PC even reported it, who also have no problem playing Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail on their PC at the same time. The developers are at fault, not the consumers. Most gacha gamers *are* playing on *mobile devices*, so if you ignore them and see it as a “small issue” getting your game a bad reputation and losing half or more of you player base then yeah go on and see what happens to their overall revenue. 👍 (Also no hate to you, I just hate the incompetence of the devs and the inability of people to realize how bad these incidents for the overall longevity and perception and player retention and therefore revenue of the game is. After ToF, players are less acceptable of such mistakes, especially since voices became loud that these performance issues isn’t something that can be fixed over night and if ZZZ or Natlan comes out before they fix it…. I've only had some minor bugs like npc textures not loading in or glitching through the ground. The worst issue I've noticed is how ping is so bad that coop doesn't show the other player's position. Other than that I have had a ton of fun.

Dude the problems feel like they are getting worse not better. I play with the graphics on *very low* and the game still CONSTANTLY drops to like 2FPS basically freezing the game on a constant basis. People posting about bad story did it before playing thru the main quest it seems. The scale and interactions in the later quest line are on lvl of Inazuma. Nothing beats HSR but welp. Altho i think the ending of the quest was kinda meh

The quest is supposed to be continued on the next patch ig, you can already see Jinhsi going to the mountain alone in the ending roll so high chance they'll introduce the new area along with the continuation of the main story.

I didnt expect WuWa to be perfect on launch. The voice acting on some parts were.. something; that's not even taking into the consideration with the amount of lagspikes, drops in frame rates and some graphical issues. But, thats not to say the game is a total failure. Down the line, updates will spring up QoL optimisations and more. Genshin at the start had voicw acting that was just as subpar. It took it alot of time to get to where it is. Just my thoughts, though. Don't let my opinions deter you from how you feel. I just think that WuWa is a game with potential. Even moreso when Kuro Games were so receptive with all the issues.

I have a realy good samsung tablet and the experience was good. Laging and some unimportant problems were there, but it wasn't enought to angery me. They were realy generous with the compenzations! No one can say bad things about that. The banners were... wasn't too much different from Genshin. 🤷‍♀️ But that's not an issue. I just wasn't insanly lucky. The story... sorry to say that but right now it's week like hell! If they can't do a bit more mature story then Genshin then it will be... just lame. I know they have limits about content but still, a good story don't need adult plot to be good. We need to be excited about what will happen after a majer story line. Right now... to me the story just... exists. But I hope they planed something intresting and exciting! ❤ But I have issues with adjustments about the mobile mode. The camera anges are a mess, sometimes the caharacters are flying away, and not targeting the enemys, they are usualy hitting somewhere else when they are auto targeting it's frustrating that I can't control that... I hope they will fix this on the mobile/tablet version. ❤

One thing I have to note here the game at launch was using 40-50% of the GPU at launch and the launcher would crash constantly. With the latest updates it’s getting up to 70% usage of the gpu. Meaning that they’re actually working to use the gpu at the fullest to have it perform the best. This is all on an all AMD system where the driver software gives you stats of everything. The game uses a lot of video memory but at launch barely used the gpu’s power, meaning it was horribly optimized. It’s getting better though

In a sense, overblowing is a good sign, that mean the greedy mouse hoyoverse see WuWa as a genuine competitor, when i was playing genshin, i remember the complete DECEPTION of the first anniversary… it wasn’t even 10 f pulls… like all industry, getting competition is good, because a monopole just make devs taking the most money-efficient methode to run, why would they not do that if money keep coming? Overblow on kuro strike them for the first 2 days, but seen the compensation, especially when like me you’re part of peoples who enconter very minor inconvenience, it’s hard to genuinely been mad at the game, i trust my somewhat limited playtime in kuro’s end 100 times more than hoyoverse personally and i know why…

My laptop is still lagging while playing the game along with ping issues ...though it's a lot better than before. i really enjoyed combat and gameplay whenever i was lucky enough to not freeze my pc mid fight.... also, camera movement is laggy even outside combat and ping fluctuation gives me nightmares. really hope they fix it in coming weeks ...and guess who got five 5 stars in just 3 days launch all below 30 pity. two of them were free tho ...also can anyone suggest settings and graphics driver for this games ....my laptop has close to 285 gb free space and can smoothly run genshin on highest settings and elder scrolls on mid settings without any fps loss or ping issues.

Genshin is a game that was released 4 years ago on a much older engine; with WuWa running on Unreal Engine 4, it's really tough for older tech like your laptop to keep up with the game. Glad to hear that through Kuro's optimization efforts it's gotten a lot more playable. There are some graphical settings discussed that can help with the performance in the game. I may make a video on it if there's enough demand!

I am not a tech person so can't really comment on that. I will play WW for the next few months and see if optimisations make the game smooth ...but if my device can't keep up then I will have to wait until I buy a new one.

The quest with clearing the Flaming Sea out temporarilt softlocked at a black screen for about 45 seconds before resuming normally. Got a bit worried. Genshin has softlocked me multiple times in the Sumeru NPC fetch commissions and absolutely did not let up.
