Wuthering Waves(WuWa) is a game from Kuro Games, the same company that made PGR. AND we know that Vanguard Sound Studio helped with the development of WuWa on the Sound Design(its on Vanguard's website). The game is only 13 days old, so much of the OSTs we don't know if its also Vanguard's works. If you're gonna react to more boss OSTs from WuWa, Crownless' would be a good one.

The impertinent heron had the best boss music but they changed it to a mid boss song. Look up the original soundtrack from pre release. It was so epic. Kuro messed up removing that and replacing it with a mid ass sound track

The boss kinda "absorbed" the experience of fallen soldiers so its not really a master of the blade,but rather it imitates many of them.

It's interesting how one of WuWa's themes is birth, rebirth and growth. Dreamless was born out of absorbing the reverberations of many soldiers and weapons, but also of Crownless we have defeated that guarded the Mother (that looked suspiciously like a Moon Presence reference). Considering that the story is about uncovering the Rover's past, and the Rover seems to have Dreamless' power from somewhere, as they awakened it before even defeating it in this turn of their Sol-3 wild rodeo, things look very, very unsettling.

I really hope we'll see Vanguard studio later in WuWa, because now OST is... well, not that good compared to PGR And yeah, you're right about the threat of the boss and "being not afraid to be hit". It's basically a final boss of the 1st chapter.

I’ve been thinking about this … ofc it’d be nice if we got VGS IN WuWa , but VGS usually does boss themes or character themes .. so if we were to get VGS we’d probably only get boss themes from them

They mention something about celebrating their first standalone game in the recent mail they gives, while this doesn't mean they won't work With vanguard in the future, but it means they purposefully did the music themselves to make a standalone game, i don't think they will ask vanguard to make wuwa soundtrack anytime soon after stating that

@@sachi2798 Narwhal was released just a few weeks after they release pgr, it means that they should've already plan it before long before that, unlike wuwa where they already make one for cbt (you can search it up, it's still on youtube, the title is flow) but decide not to include it inside the actual game when it's released

Again with the simplifying that all tracks are not good. There's intention why the music is the way it is. Even then with the ambient as the background there are tracks that are blaring rocking like Inferno Rider's or Scar's battle theme.

both games are good and both also have issues/things that could use improvement. i personally have been playing genshin for over 3 years so having another open world game to play alongside it is really nice. kinda wish people would stop trying to hate on one or the other and just let people play what they want in peace. but anyways, i will say that wuwa's music hasn't been anything that impresses me so far, but it's still a new game and i'm kind of spoiled with genshin's ost so i'm trying not to judge too hard lol. thx for the reaction! love your videos :))

I'm late and maybe you'll already are informed about the lore with dreamless lol but she's a final boss at least in first patch, we might see her again in the future. Her whole thing was being a personafication of war, and she literally refers to herself as 'mother' saying stuff like 'mother needs more weapons' so I like the kind of eerie wispy vibe to a bass heavy song because it almost reflects a traditional war cry but creepy/elegant if that makes sense. She also speaks in a breathy raspy way, and at some point she also shrieks like a banshee lmao so the fact there's subtle squeaks/shrieks in the song is a nice touch in a way. Couldn't see more wuwa reaction on ur channel other than crownless, but inferno rider boss theme is nice too. Basically in the fight, the better you do, the higher the rank you get in real time, and the music also picks up with the rank you get. Think some version of this theme used to be the login screen track before the game released I was so sad it got replaced lol but then you hear it in the bossfight and hoo boy that was a great move though I still wish we got vanguard sounds Flow as the login theme 😔

One of the two gacha games I actually play and don't hate, the other being Arknights of course. This game's soundtrack is... Fine, I guess? This one in particular is probably the best song from the game I feel. Most of the time you don't even get to hear the music though, because the audio mixing is very... Messy.

Its the mixer, the other sound effects are higher volume than the music and u can perceive the details, like for example dreamless OST has crack sounds in the backrground when the drums are increasing

Great analysis. This one is probably one of the few songs in game that is good. Most of the rest of the OST is....just there. It doesn't really stand out and not exactly interesting. Maybe that was intentional, i don't know. As for recommendation - "White Night" from Star Rail. Preferably 2.0 music video.
