Everyone remember: All Genshin content creators called Benny a useless 4 cost unit at launch....and he turned out to be the most OP and key support in the entire game. So take all this with a grain of salt

I remember the first Genshin tier list : - Qiqi Top tier - Bennett and Xingqiu low tier ! So I expect things to change, but WuWa seems to have less horizontal progression considering there's no reaction system so it might not change as much as Genshin.

Yeah, I don't think any gacha will keep the power level the same forever. I expect noticeable powercreep within 1.5-2 years if kuro's track record in PGR is anything to go by. Keep in mind that the release rate of new S ranks is also faster than PGR so far, so the powercreep could be even faster than that. Considering you need 3 units for each of the 6 elements and 1 new unit is released every 3 weeks, that means 3x6x3 = 54 weeks is a reasonable time to expect powercreep unless they add new teams with new interesting mechanics to convince players to pull.

I never played Aether Gazer with a healer. And that has only one button to dodge while enemies are surrounding you with no jump button. Being able to jump around completely changes everything.

I'm so happy for imrivenous. This is the redemption ark he deserves. We used to cover the same gacha but he wasnt able to access all the data he needed to work properly. I think the weapon banner is THE BEST option for F2P players (so no wish on character banner): 1. Many 4-star characters are as strong as 5-stars. 2. We have enough 4-stars to make three teams and clear all content. 3. You select the weapon, and there is no 50/50: it’s guaranteed (so getting R5 is straightforward). 4. Weapons on the standard banner are best-in-slot (BIS) for most characters we already have. 5. The best way to increase damage is through weapons and echoes (not by pulling limited characters). 6. We don’t know which characters will be powercrept, so investing in the characters we already have is the smartest option! 7. Having good weapons will always be a good investment, as you can use them on multiple characters. 8. In the Tower of Adversity, you can have three BIS weapons (from the 5-star standard banner) and switch them between your three teams (9 characters) if they share the same weapon type. 9. At release, we will have 240 pulls (90 standard, 20 limited, 130 of your choice). With that, we can have two BIS weapons for our current team (smartest choice) or a C1 limited character (not even guaranteed because you can lose your 50/50). Here is my team and the weapons I’m going to pull: 1. Rover (Emerald) + Mortefi (Static Mist) + Verina (Comet Flare) 2. Yangyang (Emerald) + Aalto (Static Mist) + Baizhi (Comet Flare) 3. Danjin (Emerald) + Taoqi (Dauntless Evernight) + Yuanwu (Amity Accord) As you can see, I have a lot of weapon sharing, so I can focus on upgrading them and switching them between each floor of the Tower of Adversity! Give me your thoughts on this. Do you think I’m wrong?

Yes, more characters will always be better than a weapons imo. I can always appreciate more characters (even if they suck) and I imagine it would get tiring using the same charas over and over again, and shiny new weapons can only help so much to alleviate that.

I love the Lion Boy(who name I can't pronounce) more than any other 5 stars that have been announced, so I know who I will be pulling here for. But besides that, you have great points, I mean, it's clearly much better to pull for standard weapons indeed(if you're not me who pulls for the characters ' loves) Oh wait....you were talking about the limited weapon banner👁👄👁 Wait....the standard weapon banner works with standard pulls right.......i feel like I was besides the point and convo this whole time😰 Why is every character name so hard to pronounce😭

But here we are talking about the “best option for F2P,” and I don’t think that having a bunch of undergeared 5-stars will help accomplish what we are trying to do (clearing the Tower of Adversity as fast as possible).

Well, mathematically you are probably right, but 2 things: More characters = More variety = More fun, even if it will take time to build them. Spending asterite on the basic weapon banner seems to me like a terrible choice. If you don't like the standard pool of characters you can absolutely use standard convenes for weapons, but for all intents and purposes asterite should be saved for something you really like. The available 5* weapons give you a sizeable boost, but nothing crazy. I'd rather hold those pulls for a character I like down the line, maybe with their signature. You do you, but honestly something like 20% more DPS doesn't make the game more fun for me. I'm pretty sure plenty of people will beat the tower even without BiS weapons. Also keep in mind that 5* weapons cost (IIRC) around 50% more resources to level compared to 4*, so take that into account even if you plan on swapping them around.

I really hope Kuro follows their powercreep theme. Because from their other game PGR, yes powercreep is still there but my god they make it feel like it takes for forever which is amazing. I love PGR's powercreep, yes it's not the best but its better than other games which I hope Kuro will follow. I also hope that they'll make it so that playing other characters can still feel good like for PGR.

Tip for Sanhua : When you do The Ult or skill, after that, do a charged attack (heavy basic attack) through the ice, the ice will burst/explode and deal more damage

Is it viable to just save and pull the beginner banner, and use whatever 5 star i get , cause you said if you paly fine, it gonna be viable to clear content with most of the A to S tiers, AND THEN pull of calcharo in the garunteed 5 base 5-star banner? cause i really do like how calcharo looks and his likliness to Sepiroth. a PSA about powercreep Kuro Games's PGR deals with powercreep very well old characters get buffed and have added mechanics to not make them awful so they will be able to clear everything still i dont know if having the best of the best is even necesary with PGR there was a scoreboard so it had some competitive aspect about it we can hope wuwa gets the same treatment

the Taoqi situation is concerning. doesn't the ENTIRETY of her kit revolve around and scale on Def/Def%? if she's getting one-shoted, Thats a sign of something wrong. Either build/equipment system is fucked, or the entire combat system is. Or someone is doing something wrong with either one or both of those systems.

keep in mind every standard banner character will have a much better limited character in time. it happens all of the time when someone picks a standard character they dislike just because of meta tierlist, only to see them release a limited character that does the same thing with a personality they do like.

I heard Danjin was doing crazy dmg during CBT2, and people were saying she'll def get nerfed, which I kinda agree, unless nerfing is just not what Kuro does, i'll expect the high dmg dps 4*s to be nerfed.
