Wuthering Waves has one update that all players have been asking for and that is the addition of skins, and well with some new collaborations and concept art the reality of skins coming to Wuthering Waves is starting to look even more hopeful. In this video i go through all the concept art for Wuthering Waves and talk about the possibility of skins coming to the game aswell as looking at older Kuro Games' IPs like Punishing Gray Raven and using it as a reference for what we could see in WuWa...

Kuro put more effort to make skin/coating since they usually also remake the character's attack effects animation. It will be worth the money to buy compared to Genshin's skins.

Maid skins would be so awesome. But that's mostly because I like maids, though honestly, I'd be happy with anything, event outfits or something. After all, in their other game, Kuro has tons of Alt coatings for the characters, multiple for most, a lot are paid, but just as many are "free", either from events, or by accumulating coating tickets over time from Dorm, and buying them from the shop. Some you can also get from a coating gacha, which makes them F2P if you skip characters or weapons. So, I hope they introduce this system in WuWa too.

Some idea from the skin may need the ultimate animation to be changed because, some of it will have tacet mark close up view. When skin cover up the tacet mark, it will disturb the ults.

In fairness genshin has a bunch of official art and collab of their characters dressed up with different styles but they aren’t skins in their game so I sadly doubt wuwa will make any of those art outfit styles would be skins in the game

It’s likely they chose a single, prominent character to avoid confusion that could arise from using different icons based on gender. Keeping one consistent character as the face of the game helps with clear recognition and branding.

I think you don't have to spend money knowing kuro games unlike other gacha games where you have to pay money to get the skin girl kind of does it differently like in pgr(punishing grey revan) the other game to get a skin you can use the gacha currency like black cards which in Wuwa terms is asteroid so there's a huge possibility that they could implement that mechanic into it and you could pull for skins

i definitely agree they need to add skins. i play alot of Azur Lane as well and they are able to release several skins per event though they dont have to contend with modeling them in 3d so that is prolly why they can do anywhere from 3 to 7 skins per update.
