​​ @SolaireOfToast I agree with you, but I've realised that for me, some side or exploration quests(I haven't read much of the lore so I won't talk about it) can be better than the main story. They don't usually have the downsides like simping too much with the mc and some of them have an actual good plot. So I ended up thinking that stories in wuwa have a good plot, but things like everyone having the same type of relationship with the mc ruin it and hide it's good things.

If you’re wondering why this showcase is more cinematic and character driven, it makes sense. We might get a gameplay video separately like Camellya (resonator combat showcase). I’m actually glad that they’re focusing more on her character and personality in the trailer. This has been a trend since the Camellya trailer video and her gameplay video, and I’m all for it. Instead of a middle segment of combat against common mobs, I like that they’re going full cinematic and focusing on the character. We still get an idea of what her powers are, but it’s done through cinematics and woven with the story the trailer is telling rather than interrupting with a combat segment against a common mob to showcase every part of her kit and in-game animations.

I don't agree. The transition from Cinematic > Gameplay incorporated a sense of immersion for the character's animations. As if the gameplay IS part of the cinematic. Just like how they incorporated her 2nd Ult Animation near the section where Carlotta lands on top of a car. It makes you appreciate the gameplay's animations, due to the high quality.

this shit.....WAS FUCKING GRACEFUL. bloody superb, strangely no transition but damn it goes to show they don't need to do their smooth transitions into a resonators splash art to create such peak cinema, as only even transitions into texts are enough. i am at tears and hairs made raised to have my skin at the state of goosebumps at such splendid performance! the vocals and melody used for the showcase was not the usual hype tunes we are used to hear for a characters showcase to build up suspense and spirits! instead, a tune that is fit for an opera of pure ELEGANCE! and must i add, as they call it... i am simply combusting with pure ecstasy as of this very moment!

Kurt cooked hard on this patch. And boy there’s not an inch in Rinascita map that doesn’t make me stop and look. Everything is breath taking. I haven’t even started with the holo and TOA yet. Coz I’m so busy and enjoying the map quests, treasures, color pallet, and sometimes just flying around and admiring the view.
