WVIZ-TV 25 - Emergency Broadcast System Test (June 1985)

Huge thank you to ‪@ThatWeirdoWhoMakesVideos‬ for sending this over to me! Recorded from Cleveland, Ohio's WVIZ during a broadcast of "Art Alive; Consumer Connection." Upon browsing through newspaper listings, it appears this specific segment of Art Alive only aired on select PBS stations in June of 1985. If you have any further information that can help pinpoint a more accurate date for this, please let me know!

WWL-TV in New Orleans used this exact test card until about 1986, and it was more faded than this one!

Most of the Detroit stations also did in the late 60's/early 70's. WJBK and WKBD used their own versions.

Wow, talk about old school! That black and white slide card makes it look like it's from 1965 instead of 1985.

WVIZ signed on in 1965 so it's very possible they used that card since day one.
