My goodness! That face! She’s precious. And growing so fast. So this was my smile for the day. I wish there were more videos of little Stevie. I could watch for hours. 💖

The obsession that these zoos have with stealing great ape babies is truly sickening. Anything for a buck.
@PrimateProductions Жыл бұрын
You have no idea what you are talking about lol. Considering she was not ever available for the public to see until she was returned to the exhibit full time with her family/troop how do you figure "stealing her" earned them any "bucks"??

What happened to her Mom and Aunties. This is so sad. Will she have a chance of be allowed to go to a sanctuary , eventually?
@PrimateProductions Жыл бұрын
Did you not watch/listen to the video at all? Of course she is not going to go to a sanctuary...why would they do that? She is in a large, well run, accredited zoo facility receiving expert, professional care (far better than what she would be receiving if she were in most sanctuaries in the US). As soon as she hits a few specific milestones (such as being able to come to the mesh to get her bottle) she will be going back in the exhibit with her family/troop.
@allinaday9882 Жыл бұрын
@@PrimateProductions No. The beginning of the video did not give a reason for the separation .And was so heartbreaking I turned it off to ask the questions that might give me hope that infant might be able to escape the zoo. I know of only 3 sanctuaries. And none of those are in North America. I am glad that I turned off this video before I was pulled in to care about a infant with such a tragic future. I have now been warned to avoid Primate Productions videos. Thank you.

That "poor baby"...is a INFANT KILLER...IT will be fine
@PrimateProductions Жыл бұрын
Oh yeah right...because of course that is the case! Um not. If that were the case them these animals would have stopped existing long ago! 🙄
@allinaday9882 Жыл бұрын
@@PrimateProductions I think by killers, the writer was referring to humans.
@PrimateProductions Жыл бұрын
@@allinaday9882 no she was not. The baby chimp was already with the humans, that is who is rearing her in the video. They discussed how soon she will be returned to her troop (the chimpanzees). "Sue Taylor" was definitely referring to the chimpanzees when she said "the killers".
@paulsonj726 ай бұрын
@@PrimateProductionsSue Taylor is as bad as Kendra Hansen is on Orangutan rescue videos. She pretty much accuses rescue organizations of being poachers. And of course Ms. Taylor here says Orangutans should be kept as pets because they live longer in captivity
@suetaylor11272 жыл бұрын
Good they belong as pets.

If you want a chimp as a pet just have a baby, or adopt a human baby. Really what's wrong with you
@suetaylor11272 жыл бұрын
@@carolmayhardie I don’t want one as a pet. Why whats wrong with you? You think you get to dictate who spends time with who? You don’t and you should find a worthy cause to champion, all the primates have been taken by every other ken and karen out there who are great at parroting .

The white fuzz on her bottom is for the mother to easily spot her whenever she's in a crowd
@PrimateProductions Жыл бұрын
Well not necessarily. There is often more than one young chimp in a troop and it's not often her baby will be "lost in a crowd" for it to be necessary for the mom to spot her in a crowd. The white rump is more so that all the chimps in a troop recognize her as young indicating she needs extra care and attention from any of the group.
