You casuals kill me. We lost an opener to a top 8 team as an unranked team, then blew out a team we were supposed to blow out by 35 points. Good teams play badly sometimes. it's impossible to be perfect all the time. Look at ND against NIU. Boise almost beat Oregon at home. USF gave Alabama a dog fight for 3 quarters. Georgia made Clemson look like trash then they score 66 points in their week 2 game. All those teams underperformed, doesnt mean they suck and have terrible coaches. We simply just had a bad game. it's not the end of the world. We are starting to finally play institutions with similar talent level teams and resources. We should be happy we have a young, hungry coach. Brown gets paid less than 10 other Big 12 coaches, we are getting more from Brown than what we are paying for, because WVU doesn't have endless pockets to steal away some high caliber coach, you all have to start being realistic.

No we don't, we don't need to consistently always start the season off with a loss, we need to be like every other P4 institution and play layup games to get your team dialed in, because conference play is what matters. Not beating up your team on the first game of the season against a quality opponent

There is a 12 team playoff. If they win the Big 12 championship with 3 losses they get a bye, so we don't need to schedule Alabama or teams like that. We need more Albany teams to play before we start conference play, that's when it counts. Your conference games become exponentially more important. Win those, win the conference, and you getva first round bye in thr playoff. Don't give me we need to keep Alabama.

WVU has the spur on the line as much as it does off, so it's not a 3-3-5 all of the time, or even the majority of the time. Sometimes it's a 3-2-6. It changes and shifts enough that trying to classify it as one set isn't something you can do -- nor is it important.

Major peeve of mine. You have fans / posters defending the mediocrity. Ok. If you’re fine with mediocrity, ok. But stop with the preseason hype garbage. We all know who said it, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Can we agree that the now defunct mantra of “trust the climb” is a climb to mediocrity?
