I can’t imagine joining a modeling club that includes you. My best efforts ever would look like your first models without doubt. Even back when I had the eyes and patience for such work, I couldn’t manage the detail so cleanly. I slowly acquired a taste for WWI airplanes which seem to manage to fly with all their guts hanging out in the wind so to speak, as opposed to the sleek, relatively boring early jets of my youth (I’m 71). I can practically feel the texture of the fabric wing and fuselage skin, and smell the castor oil from the engines of your model.

My hat is off to you sir. There are perhaps no more than 3 or 4 modelers on KZbinEbay that can approach your skill level. With no less than a 1/72 scale Roden kit of an extremely demanding subject, you demonstrate how the reak art comes into this hobby.
