Welcome back Kevin! That basing would work perfectly for Command Decision ww1 variant where a stand is a platoon. You would have a sizeable force with no trouble. I had a mind to do something with the battle of the Somme and definitely earlier in the war as well. I do love the French uniforms.

I never really knew anything about command decision. Now I’m going to have to look at it. I think what I’m missing is a lot more people that can just come over and throw stuff on the table and teach me the rules. I think that’s always my difficulty. I love buying rules, but I hate teaching myself about the rules. Does that make sense but I do appreciate your comments. Thank you very much.

I was fortunate enough to have been part of the gaming group of the creators of Command Decision so I had my introduction by the rules from the authors. I am the same way. I play traditional hex and counter games and I try to stick to games that are part of a larger series to avoid having to constantly learn new rules. You're quite welcome!

Oh nice I did not know. What a tragedy 6 million soldiers wounded and one000,000 plus dead. Unbelievable isn’t it. I paint our maze and think that this is honoring them somehow.

Thank you very much. I hope that it also plays well. I’ve never put it on the table to play with it. Probably because I don’t know the rules yet and I’m a little bit nervous about doing that. I’ll have to find somebody that knows how to play World War I.
