If you go on google maps it show that the siren is still up there. They just haven't updated their pic....

Werent the ww2 models made with a shorter housing due to thebunited states hoarding most of it during ww2. Even if this is a ww2 model, it seems like a large waste of money to use that much metal in a housing with an emergency war raging in Europe for the second time.
