How do you proceed in order to get the permit(s) to detect in German woods/fields/areas, as the rules for detecting in Germany are quite unique and not so easy to get your hands on?

i am not a metal detecting guy. But it´s allow in 15 of 16 German States. The only thing you have declare are findings with cultural or national value, from Roman or Viking times i guess. But most WWII stuff is simply modern trash, just call the police if you find ammunition or bombs.

From76 to'80 I was stationed in ludwigsburg. Being in a signal unit I spent 9 months a year in the forests mostly in the swabish? Areas of Germany. I loved the country side and people! I just wish I was more educated as to what happened during ww2. Was there much fighting near wurzburg, nurnburg and areas near rein main? Enjoy your show, keep it up! (Please excuse my spelling)
