Немцы умели воевать, но на два фронта и без людских ресурсов было сложно. В 1945 их, конечно, хорошо утюжили с воздуха и артиллерией, но всё равно сопротивлялись пока имелся смысл. В Кёнигсберге большая часть из 12-ти кольцевых фортов сдались практически без боя после того, как была подавлена вся наружная крепостная артиллерия. А вот группировка оборонявшая город держалась до тех пор, пока всех фрицев не согнали к центру, где сопротивляться уже было бесполезно. Тогда только и сдались. А фильм, конечно, о героях вермахта, к. Адольф отправил мир завоевать. Вот только потом в земле лежать остались, или в лагерях сгнили.

Again the primary section weapon was the mg34 or mg42, in attack or defense everything revolved around this weapon and every soldier carried ammunition for it. The riflemen were there to protect the machine gun.

Love the vids, but why are Heer soldiers wearing camouflage that was very strictly exclusive to the Waffen-SS? The Heer wore what is often referred to as "Splinter Camo."

It's really just Walter who has the helmet cover. Also because we wanted a distinguishing feature for Walter which was his camp helmet. We also learned a lot more history as we made each episode and stayed away from the oak camo and stayed with the splinter instead.

Die Uniformen waren von der Bundeswehr. Auf der einen Jacke waren auf der Schulterklappen Metall Obergefreiter Dienstgrad. Bei der Wehrmacht war der OG Dienstgrad am Oberarm und sah besser aus das die Dienstgradabzeichen der Bundeswehr.

Hello, it was pretty common for Germans to used the captured ppsh during the fighting on the eastern front since it was superior to their own mp40. Hopefully this helps explain why you saw them in our film.

Thats what colored tracers were common with the russians. U.S. used red tracers. Germany used white, red, green, yellow pretty much whatever they could get there hands on. At least you tried to watch. I'd recommend giving it more of a try next time.

I would like it if you always told the stories from the perspective of a Red Army soldier. If I have understood correctly, your crew is from the Russian-speaking area. Accordingly, you have the best connection to it and the dialogue works much better in your own mother tongue. At the moment, so many films with the theme of "World War II" are coming out of Russia, which portray the German soldier as if he had won his military training at the carnival and is at the same time the personified evil. That's much better portrayed in your films. Similar to the series on You Tube, "Verstaubt sind die Gesichter", I could imagine it from the Russian perspective. I hope I haven't been too negative in my criticism. With the greatest respect, all the best from East Germany.
