You name it, we got it on display :-) Well, the airplanes are usually in museums. The WW2 is deeply rooted into people's imagery as part of nation's survival story. From there comes the enthusiasm to keep the memories alive and restored.

wow, this pak 40 is in great shape for its age/situation. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I wish more people would do this for other German weapons, as there are many I have always wondered about.

Thanks. I guess I have to make another "looking at the mechanism" video on some other gun :-)

Yes, the telescope optical tube is missing.

Thanks, I always wondered how they aimed the weapon. I assume the optics are long gone on this one.

Good design. Low profile, light weight, hard hitting. Not an expert, but I suspect the majority of current weapons are based on WW2 German stuff.

Indeed, everything's correct. I have the same gut feeling. A lot is based on the old German stuff.

It's amazing how many World War I and World War II weapons you have on display in your country. Do you also have armored vehicles on display, or aircraft?

It's better to know how to use an AT gun and not need it than to need a gun and not know it :-)
