He’s wearing an Iron cross 2nd and 1st class, infantry assault badge and wound badge in black. All awards created before Barbarossa. The one your referring to is an almost fully red ribbon with white and black strips in the middle, called „Winterschlacht im Osten“ in German. It’s true it could be worn in the 2nd button hole from the top but in this case he’s not wearing it. Overall still a unrealistic medal amount considering he’s wearing an SD uniform.

Lots of people complaining about the inaccuracies. The first uniform he wore is an M40 Uniform with SS insignia for the rank of a Sturmann (Gefreiter Equivalent) He has an Ironcross ribbon (Ek1), and a Iron Cross Pin (Ek2), an infantry assault badge and a 2nd class wound badge. The Insignia on his shoulder tabs are from the LSSAH (1st SS Leibstandarte) His cap is an M43 Field Cap with Wehrmacht Insignia. Inaccuracies: - M43 Caps were not introduced until 1943 - M43 Cap has the incorrect insignia, eagles on the front are for the wehrmacht. SS caps had a skull in the front and an eagle on the side of the cap. - LSSAH used early triangular tipped shoulder boards during the battle of France. - M36 Uniforms were used by the majority of troops participating in France not the M40.
