Greetings! Thank you for taking us along to this countryside. The place becomes even more interesting when considering its historical perspective.

Thank you! I agree. When we set out on the walk, we were unaware of the bomb site, so it was an interesting find. 😊

Hi, yes, we are very lucky. I'm glad you liked it... we certainly did. It was a bonus to find the bomb site, too. Thank you for watching. All the very best for a lovely week ahead ❤

Hi jenny robert, another fantastic walk, I've always found best walks tend to be on your doorstep. You don't want to be in peaks now. the weather is all over the place

@overthehilloutdoors hi! Thanks. Yes, absolutely! We definitely don't have to venture far. Ah, it's a bit like that here, too at the moment, it's different from one day to the next. Hope you're doing ok. Jenny 😊

Hi Jenny - gotta say I love Open fields and the beauty of our back yard, especially during changing seasons. Good job nobody was killed during the V2 missile strike. The Germans were ahead of their time regarding technology but it still missed whatever it was it was aiming at. Well, we have to get lost before we can be found eh? It's so enjoyable navigation and finding our way. What with the end of time and new jobs that was a good walk. Very enjoyable. Have a great week ahead. Mark

Hi Mark, yes me too - I love watching how the fields change throughout the seasons. Harvest time is one of my favourites, just watching the monster machinery working through the fields. It's hard to believe that it would've been done with manual labour years ago. Haha, I've said many times how it's fun getting lost or going on detours - you never know what you might stumble upon or where your path will eventually lead you! Luckily, in Norfolk, we'd never be truly lost, not like up in the mountains, haha! Thanks Mark, you too have a good week 😊

@@bumblejennybee88 Love to hear about the rural adventures Jenny and yes I enjoy watching the countryside go about it's thing too. Re-getting lost, it wouldn't be fun if we couldn't figure things out. A pleasure as always.

The V-2 was unguided, so it wasn't really aimed.

You must be having quite a heat wave to dress like that in late November. There are some atomic bomb sites in Nevada, but we're not allowed to hike there.

This was the middle of September, so we were still having good weather... it's very cold now! I don't think I'd want to hike there. 😕
