Salut,I was one of the eleven thousand in that crowd,I don’t think you guys realize how much this meant to us and the crowd was a perfect representation of how much this meant to us.WWE should come to France again and have move WWE PPV events overseas.Triple H in the post-conference did say that they will come back to France and Triple H said that he is going to look into Italy and there is Bash of Berlin in Germany and Clash of the Castle in Scotland which is also going to have great crowds.

Wreslemania crowds ARE like this, the problem is that they want to get as many tickets out as possible for WM so they use open air stadiums which greatly hinders audio for the at home viewer because it all escapes out of the arena, there's no acoustics.

Bonjour, I was fortunate enough to be there... I loved it, the matches were well paced and many things happened that were made for us... The presence of our Commentary Team, the chants, everything was awesome... If I'm honest, the reactions and every chant are why we 'deserve' more events... But I think it also is a reflection of how little we've seen the WWE. It was our first episode of SmackDown, our first PLE... In the US, it's kinda 'normal' two have 2 or 3 wrestling shows a week... For us it was something special. Give us a PLE a year, we'll be great, I swear ❤ Oh, and come see us and join the Party, you won't regret it ❤

He’s not the best at promos, though not terrible, but he’s just excellent in the ring. I think he said he’s winding up his career and retiring sooner rather than later so I’m glad you got to see his potential in a great main event before then.

I think the audience perspective on live performances is different in Europe. The audience has a role to play. Especially in Wrestling, the crowd is a character and supposed to enhance the show, to help the performers do their job, not make it harder. Also, they are pre-conditioned from all the football games, hence the volume

The AJ Chant was "He Is Phenomenal! Nana Na Na! Nana Na Na!" In French. European crowds will often reuse popular football(soccer) chants when watching wrestling, as that's a cultural crowd experience they are familiar with and there's chants that everyone in the crowd knows via osmosis already. Most Americans aren't diehard soccer fans, and we don't have the exposure to those chants, so they're new to us.

The song that the French public sang for AJ Styles is called "Il est vraiment phénoménal" ("He is truly phenomenal") from Phenomenal Club : A franco-belgian band. It was originally a gag song in 1997. But it had a very big (unforeseen) success in France and Belgium the same year. Today, the chorus is still regularly sung at fairgrounds, village festivals, etc. But also to celebrate some sports performances in the stadiums.

Nick Khan and Paul Levesque are very smart. Doing PLEs in France, UK, Australia, Puerto Rico, Germany...is a great idea because fans are really excited to see them, they're very animated, they're willing to spend a lot of money and these hot crowds make the shows better and the peformers work harder to please them because they feel appreciated. This creates a very positive buzz. And when it's time for the really big shows, they bring in the big stars and that makes those shows feel even more important. Obviously good writing and booking is necessary, but these enthusiastic crowds make everything better.

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are the sons of 80s and 90s wrestler Haku/Meng. Haku is a legend as the most legitimate badass in the industry. One of the boys is adopted the other is Haku’s true son. They wrestled in New Japan for a long time as The Guerillas of Destiny and founding members of the Bullet Club with Finn Balor (Prince Devitt at the time). So in addition to the Bloodline they have connections to AJ Styles, Finn, The OC (Gallows and Anderson) and several people who were enemies in NJPW like Shinsuke.

Most fans over there have a mindset like "Oh, I can watch next week in so and so state" it's easy. Fans out of the US are HUNGRY, hence the reactions/pops. I wonder where backlash will be next year? That's what I was thinking after the show was over. Backlash is usually the throwaway event after WrestleMania but these past two years have made it pretty exciting! AJ Styles became one of my favorites when he came into WWE years back and he was one of the guys with great title reigns. I think he had some of his best matches with John Cena. When they opened the show with R-KO vs the Bloodline, I thought it was a good choice and then when it turned into a brawl and afterwards into a street fight, I was like damn, they are going too hard too fast too early but it worked. The crowd ate it up and kept going and wasn't deflated from that match like many crowds in the US would have been. Jade and Bianca, I'm expecting a heel turn at some point but am hoping it is not anytime soon. Jade just screams heel but she definitely needs more training before she can have that awesome Mania match with Bianca. Tiffany in my opinion has 'IT'. She is the next big star in WWE for the women. I remember reading an interview a while back about her saying she wanted to get into movies and TV but I'm hoping she stays here for a long while before she tries to pursue that avenue. I think the Damian vs Jey match was ok. It did what it needed to do to move Priest's story along. There was no way to make Priest look good coming out of this. He still looks like a weak champion right now because of the distractions and the fact that he can't control his faction that he believes he's the leader of. Jey still look strong coming out on the losing end. Honestly, when I saw your sign on TV I was temporarily distracted by something else that when I glanced at it I thought it said "We want more Women's Titties"! I had to rewind it and laughed at my own dirty mind. Keep up the good work! I'll try to sub to the Patreon soon. Just trying to figure out my budget right now with my jobe being slow.

There used to be a lot of manager walk ins with the mic and changing stipulations on matches in the Attitude adn Ruthless Aggression Era, less so in the PG and Modern Era. Good to see it back.

There's two types of bad crowds, one is a crowd that doesn't respond to anything, then there's the second, a crowd that makes it about themselves. I hated it when they went for a pinfall because then I'd have to hear the same chant for the 50th time. Yeah once or twice is fine, but it gets old fast. They'd also applaud themselves after they finish a chant.

Don't worry, you're gonna go back to stale crowds next week until the next PPV outside of the US.

@@percevalmahpouyas9933 if every show was in France that would get stale too. I'd rather "this is awesome" chants over the repeated "that was two" and "phenomenal" chants from France. 🤮

@@Stevo.100 We love and respect wrestling over there. We know that ultimately it's a show and that they're putting it for us to enjoy. And we're giving them their energy back and more. We chant and cheer, or stay silent when they talk. Besides, that's how European crowds in general are. If you don't like it, well... 😃 We were their vacation, and next week is gonna just feel like another day back to work 🥴

@@percevalmahpouyas9933honestly tho that phenomenal chant during the smackdown promo was getting super annoying cuz they wouldn’t stop and it was killing the promo. That was my only complaint. Don’t chant obnoxiously during a promo segment.

It was on the low end for total enjoyment for me, but the first match? That's how you start a fucking PLE. I thought Jey v Damian was going to go differently (not the result, just how we go to it) and but they put on a fun match. Bayley v Naomi v Tiffany deserved so much better than a reversed rollup for the win, save that for RAW and Smackdown. It was the best in-ring match of the night up until the very end. I'm not big on either AJ or Cody personally, but they pulled deep into their pockets to put on a show a lot of people wanted to see - just not the feud they deserved to go along with it. Jade looks to be Her for sure. I truly believe my biggest gripe with the show - and this wouldn't happen because of legitimate injury on top of some well earned time off with his little girl anyways - is that it didn't have Seth Freaking Rollins. I miss that man so much.

Even being predictable as it was, it still felt real. Felt like anything could happen. Especially starting the night off with no DQ

People were mad about the 5 match card, but the show proved why they did it that way. I know Triple H prefers less matches & more time, but hearing the audiences cheer/sing everyone's theme & watching the wrestlers soak it in was worth it. My husband (who is a huge wrestling fan) says a crowd can make or break a show, this showed why (reminds me how loud Puerto Rico's crowd was for last year's Backlash). I knew Bloodline was winning because they needed to establish this version of the faction as a credible threat, not only to the locker room, but to Roman himself. I agree, I did want Jey to win mostly because I want him to hold a singles title before him & Jimmy eventually realign. Damian Priest is either going to get kicked out of Judgment Day or he voluntarily leaves, the seeds have been planted since last year. He's been showing like he's not that much into cheating to win anymore, I think he's taken pride in winning clean because he needs to prove himself as a champion knowing he got it due to him holding that briefcase. Judgment Day is going to implode big time, you notice only Finn & JD showed up.
