Taking last night's SummerSlam into consideration and the fact that there's some fans that appear ALL THE TIME in the front row at WWE events, it's safe to say those fans have been paid to be there and react the way WWE wants them to (that means, not reacting at all, because they barely look like they are enjoying the show). That way they can manipulate the crowd that can be seen during matches both visually and with audio.

And if you watch closely on extreme moves or moved done on non-wrestler guest hosts and what not. You can see the person squeeze the wreslters hand or wrist to say "I'm ok" since they can't ruin the stoyline by having the wrestler getting up and asking the person they just did a move on, if they are ok.

I remember watching an ECW match with Mikey Whipwreck. He was in the corner and they were about to powerbomb him off the top rope. But, right before they picked him one of them whispered into Mikey's ear, "Sorry buddy, this is gonna hurt really bad." They then proceeded to powerbomb him so hard he bounced a good three or four feet into the air. I just thought it was funny that he accidentally said it loud enough and close enough to the mic on the camera for everyone at home to hear what he was saying.

The reason for the scripted promos isn't because of timing issues. It's because the TV networks demand to know what content is going to be broadcast before going on air. Even those that are allowed to do their own promos have to provide a small piece of written confirmation as to what they intend to say on the show.

Now this was my kind of wrestling video. Not like all those other video on You Tube stating "The Real reason why so and so lost" or Left Wwe. No This video is interesting and not based on rumors and hear say. As you mention all the hard work that goes into making a show I feel the only thing you left out is setting up the ring ,stage and lights only to tear it down again and reset it in a different arena hundred of miles away the following day or day after. How these guys do all that is incredible. The logistics involve in that must be incredible. Maybe at some point you could make a video on how all that gets done.

It annoys me so much when people talk about scripted vs real.. they aren't specifically different things. Wrestling is both things.. for example, why doesn't everyone talk about sports like football being scripted vs real? All the players plan plays, rehearse the plays and then when the time is right, they use that rehearsed play. But it's still Real. There really are people playing the sport, running the field, and actually get hurt. Same for wrestling. It's just a bit more scripted for storylines.

During a match, when wrestlers are on the floor "knocked out". Referees hold the wrestlers hand to check if they're fine. If the wrestler squeezes the refs hand, then they're fine. If they don't, then there's a problem.

Something to watch out for, after a big move and the wrestler is selling laid out. You will see the ref putting his fingers in the palm of the hand of the wrestler. He gives a little squeeze to tell the ref he is OK and continues to sell the bump. No squeeze and the bump was as bad as it looked and he is not selling but actually hurt. It tends to only happen after really spectacular bumps involving height or objects like being put through a table. It's something to look out for.

It would be better no matter what anybody says, if they would do their scripts, hlah, blah, blah but have alternate story lines and not dictate winners and losers and let them wrestle and best man win. You could easily set time limits to keep within constraints and then they would increase intensity toward the end to get a pin. I'd love it a lot better. WCCW and some of those less production shows ruled. Just watched the Flair vs Kerry Von Erich and David Von Erich matches and I couldn't help think those matches were a lot closer to best man winning.

Simple solution for more organic promos, give wrestlers bullet points of what they need to get across and then allow them to write their own scripts, this would let them come across much more genuine instead of saying shit their characters would never say (i.e no more suckotash) AND stay within time constraints.

Why did John Cena get blooded all-in-one matching mm
@jerelminter4 жыл бұрын
John Cena took a tiny razor blade either from the referee or from his shorts and he cut himself over his forehead with it after his opponent would hit him in the head with a steel chair (or whatever the foreign object was). The camera cuts away from Cena when he's doing this so that you can't see it so that it looks as if the wrestler who hit him is the one who made him bleed, but in reality he did it himself with a razor blade.
