Coming up five years ago, I made a collaborative video with Guru Larry covering British made WWF Wrestling games that were never released in the United States. This was back in the days when I only had 6,000 subscribers and not much of an install base for wrestling games. Since this has all changed, I have remade the video featuring new music, new voice work and new footage. I hope you enjoy this forgotten content we made! Let's look at WWF European Rampage and more!

I'll be honest - whenever I hear "WWF/E Rampage", I imagine the arcade game Rampage with gigantic WWF/E wrestlers trashing the cities.

I know this is just a revamp, of an older video, but: a.) This game was released outside of England/GB. It was widely available here in germany. b.) The screen-cut, when the action went to outside the ring, was also present in the WWF Superstars Game on the Game Boy (and on the NES Games aswell, if I remember correctly). c.) It wasn`t an awfull game at that time. back in the day, there were just a couple of wrestling-games available... two on the NES (WWF Superstar, and WWF Steel Cage Challenge), one one the Game Boy (WWF Superstars), and one on either the SNES, or the Megadrive (WWF Super Wrestlemania). If you were in the US, you also had One additional game for the WCW. And back in the day, we were happy for avery wrestling-game we could get. We spend countless hours (and batteries) on WWF Superstars, and hours, upon hours on WWF European Ramoage, just to see the Wrestlers, which weren`t included in the other games. Even the SNES Wretlemania had it`s moments, despite it ignoring any individuallity, special attacks, or finishing moves.

I feel like as an American, I will never understand the appeal of Big Daddy. I tried to watch his match with Giant Haystacks and it was just two fat guys running into each other. I'm guessing he used to do a lot more than that.

Giant haystacks was my favourite as a kid. Did you see him in wcw? I think he had a few matches before he passed. I think he was called the loch ness monster, if I'm not mistaken. 🤔

If I'd be a wrestler I'd powerslam both of you for not mentioning that there were DOS versions of these games, too. If you're familiar with that competing home computer system to the Amiga. You know IBM PC, on where Windows 11 runs nowadays. Also it got me pretty confused about what's the relation between WWF Wrestlefest and WWF Wrestlemania. Now I've look that up again. By the way, back in the days when I played WWF Wrestlemania and WWF European Rampage on my IBM PC 286 I actually had some more fun with European Rampage as it's a bit more free in the stuff you can do ringside. I even invented an own finisher in that game. Throw your opponent to the ropes, quickly step on the turnbuckle and hit that poor guy with a running flying clothesline.

It was Steve Regal in wcw and then Lord Steven Regal also in wcw then briefly in Wwf as the "Real Mans Man" Steven Regal before returning as William Regal.
