Here is how to do the moves for wwf raw for game gear. Grapple and wait till the meter is full on your side and press 1 or 2. Grappling and pressing up or down rapidly gives you a atomic drop or backbreaker. Grappling and pressing 1 and 2 together at the same time, gives you a vertical suplex. To do most finishers, the computers health bar has to be in the red, then grapple till the meter fills up and press start and button 1. Some finishers are different, for yokozuna, you press start and 1, wheen standing by the other wrestlees head or feet and he will drag them to the corner and climb up and do the bonzai drop

Great video. The Sega Game Gear version of Return Of The Jedi is actually really solid. Realtime Associates did a very good job with it. You already know you're reviewing dated tech. It's ridiculous to compare it to modern tech that is obviously far superior. The Game Gear is a portable Master System, and it served it's purpose back then well. To preserve batteries, you used the power adapter in places where you could, like hotel rooms. Or, if you could, you found an adapter with a car cigarette attachment. But whining about these things today are off putting because it takes away what mattered then when the Game Gear was one of the best handhelds around, second to the Gameboy.
@the16bitprick363 ай бұрын
@@JohnCrawford1979 yes very dated tech. I didn't compare it to today's tech, I compared it to the Gameboy from the same period. Only thing I can think of is that I said I'd rather emulate which ofcourse isn't better than the actual hardware but playing on a bigger screen seems more appealing to me. I review everything on the time they were released in and like I said in the video the game boy is far superior. My experience with the game gear is different from everyone else's and that cool. Not sure what your issue is but thanks for watching anyways 😀
@JohnCrawford19793 ай бұрын
@@the16bitprick36 - The Gameboy was not superior to the Game Gear. Up until the mid 90's most 3rd parties were held hostage to Nintendo, so competition was suppressed in North America. Tech-wise the Turbo Express would have been the most advanced because it could play Turbografx 16 Hu-cards. GameGear and Lynx would be tied for second, and Gameboy at third. It's not a knock at Gameboy because Nintendo isn't known for having the most powerful consoles as much as having had some of the best 1st and 3rd party game developers. This has always been their strength, and especially why they dominated for nearly a decade, from the mid-80's thru the mid-90's by holding captive their 3rd party devs. But once they were unleashed, it was too little, too late for the hand helds that were alternative to the Gameboy. Not that there weren't good ports, like NBA Jam on the Game Gear, but the battle was pretty well over, and you had Gameboy Advance as a stop gap until the DS, and eventually the Wii. Participation trophies go to the Playstation Portable, and the first attempt at a portable gaming phone, the N-Gage. Personally, a bigger screen doesn't make sense because the portable games were developed to be played on a small resolution of 160 X 144 pixels in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The Gameboy was also 160 X 144, however the Gameboy could only show shades of gray (or pea soup green in the original), whereas the Game Gear had a 4096 color palate and able to display 32 colors on screen. The Game Gear also had a 3.2 inch screen compared to the original Gameboy's 2.5 inch screen. So if larger screen really was a factor, the Game Gear should have been more appealing. But, sure base it off of old 90's wrestling games, which were notoriously bad to begin with, save Royal Rumble and Saturday Night Slam Masters.
@the16bitprick363 ай бұрын
Doesn't it all come down to persoanl taste though? In hardware the Game Boy may not be superior but in terms of games i would say it is. It's just how i'd rather play these games these days, infront of a big screen with a controller in hand. I'm happy to say ive expereinced both handhelds the way they are to be played, i just think that time has passed now for me and i have no reason to dust off my game boy because i'd rather emulate these days. I also think you missed the part where i mentioned picking up a handful of games, plus these are ancient now so trying to argue over whats best now is kind of pointless, same way whe i see Xbox and Playstation fan boys arguing, its pointless. Feel free to send reccomendations though, im happy to give other games a bash!
@JohnCrawford19793 ай бұрын
@@the16bitprick36 - tp some level, there is subjectivity. But Nintendo consoles of the 80's and 90's were also helped by Nintendo being in control of the flavors that people could taste. The N64 was an example of what happens when Nintendo loses that control, and many of their major 3rd parties go off and become major 3rd parties for the Playstation. The N64 was in some ways ahead of it's time. After that, they backed off from 64 bit to 32 bit with the Game Cube and didn't return to 64 bit until the Wii-U. I would say that some games are decidedly better than others. Some ports are way better on different consoles, For instance, Double Dragon on the NES has been the standard for ports to console. However, I'd say the Master System version, especially with FM sound is about as good, though the Genesis version is better than both. Second to last goes to the Lynx version, even though it tries to be close to the arcade, and probably looks close if run on a Lynx, but it really doesn't look good emulated, and the controls aren't great. Howeve, the worst are the 7800 and 2600 versions of Double Dragon. Sound wise, the 7800 could have done much better if it had the POKEY ship. Graphics, the 7800 is barely a step up from the 2600, which is unfortunate, and shows that the devs either did it cheap or simply didn't know how to program for the 7800. Because there are impressive games on the 7800.
