WWE 2K14 is a much better version of this game. Basically, since it was the 30th Wrestlemania, they had a "30 Years of Wrestlemania" mode and each bout would be about either the main event or a major match on the card. Then you got a mode dedicated to the Undertaker's streak where you could defend or defeat the streak. Highly recommend it. I'm not usually too into WWE games. The yearly releases and style of gameplay often put me off the series, but this was a unique entry and a stand-out one at that. Plus, you get an alternate cover, instead of the Rock, you can turn the cover around and have Daniel Bryan be your cover.

If you like 2k14, I recommend you try WWF '13... it does a similar thing to the "30 Years of WrestleMania" mode, but it focuses on the "Attitude Era"... which itself does cover a few WrestleManias. One of the last truly great wrestling games!

I really liked this game as a kid. I remember it being the hardest thing in the world being first to click the button and spamming the buttons. Helped me relive these huge moments as a 6/7-year-old. The managers were also a super fun addition as they were huge at the time. I wish they’d recreate the game to go alongside 2k24 or 40 years of mania is part of the showcase, it’d be awesome

This game had so much potential, but it didn’t really deliver. I appreciate what they were trying to go for, an old school style game that replicates old school wrassin. It did give us that catchy knockoff version of Michael Haynes entrance song & it’s also the last game I ever played with my uncle before he passed away, so that’s a memory I’ll never forget. Still salty he beat me on his first try tho. lol 😂

I only ever played this because it was an easy platinum trophy at the time and I still felt cheated. It just feels like a load of ideas that were half baked. Also really hated that you needed to essentially have two games to unlock the whole roster, but why would you want to play as those with a more limited move set?

2K14 is still one of my favorite WWE games. The history of WrestleMania mode was unreal for the time, even if they did leave out a couple of important matches. The beat the streak mode with Taker was also awesome, if not the most frustratingly fun mode ever made!

Although this game was not liked by many, anytime someone says WWE can't make a Ruthless Aggression video game, I use this game as an example that they can. We need a Ruthless Aggression video game. We had one for the Golden Era (Legends of Wrestlemania) and we kinda sorta had one for the Attitude Era (WWE '13). I see no reason why we can't get a Ruthless Aggression game sometime in the future.

I remember buying this game and being drawn in with the roster and arenas…but yeah the gameplay was a huge letdown. For some reason no matter how much button-mashing I did I could never get near kicking out of a pin. Beating an opponent up for 5 mins then being pinned after taking a hip toss was pretty deflating.

I, for one, loved this game! It was the first game I got when I bought my PS3 in 2010. Granted, the controls aren’t the best, but it’s an “arcadey” button masher which makes it fair for friends that come over and have never played it before. Also, as a kid from the 80’s being able to play as all the Golden Era WWF Superstars was a lot of fun.

This was the first game I played on Xbox 360, but as I was a PlayStation guy I wasn’t sure of the button layout for the Xbox 360, so always made a mess of the QTE’s and it was pretty frustrating. Could you maybe do a video on the mail order fantasy wrestling stuff from the 90’s? I remember seeing them in PWI back in the day where you’d send off money in the post, fill in a slip with your wrestlers name and moveset but never tried it as it was always in the USA and I was in the UK, so had no idea how it worked…also I was about 12/13 and google wasn’t a thing!

This was the first wrestling game I bought for the 360 and the first wrestling game since the original Raw game for the OG Xbox. Seeing as I had no expectations having not played a WWE game in so long, I didn't really find much fault in it. I do agree the the "Relive" mode was frustrating and why I stopped playing it.

I've noticed many of the current day games have really large rosters but the issue for me is I don't really care about 75% of them, only the legends lol.

I remember being excited for a new style of game, I skipped on SVR09, I enjoyed it for what it was. I thought it was weird Michael Hayes was in it despite not being in a single Mania match until Mania X7. I eventually figured out I can just place an SVR09 save onto my system without buying the game and I was pretty excited to double the roster length. I almost feel like this game should've been an actual arcade game rather than a "cutting edge" console game

That is what this wrestling game deserves a comeback for Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. This includes all male and female 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s Wrestlemania legends as options, including creating a male or female wrestler. Max male wrestler height is 7 foot 4 inches as if max female wrestler height is 6 foot 7 inches as options.

I liked this game when it first came out, but everything I liked about the game was done way better with the Wrestlemania Moments mode in WWE 2k14, so I never went back to it. I never had to buy Smackdown v Raw 2009 to unlock that roster, as it only required a rental that cost a couple of dollars for one night.

I am one of the very few who got a lot of enjoyment out of this game, really enjoyed the WrestleMania Tour mode even if some spots in certain matches did annoy me (like walking the opponent up the ramp and him instantly walking you back down it) and I remember playing battle royals for titles a lot, but definitely believe the game was very limited

What I disliked the most about this game was how in certain matches you'd need to recreate big WrestleMania moments. This would unlock fun content. The tricky thing is that some moments are stupidly difficult to arrange. I recall that when playing as Stone Cold vs Rock at WrestleMania 15, you had to back Rock to the steel stairs for a spot, and the computer AI would do everything it could to prevent you from setting that up.

The only Game I manage to go for 100% achievements on. I stop as I struggled with the Rock vs Austin match where it was damn near impossible to get that specific trophy. All and all I got more enjoyment out of this game than most.

I actually really liked this game. It was a ton of fun but I hated the golf swing pin mechanic. To me that was the biggest flaw of the game, not the QTE. Also, it would have been really cool to have extra arenas like a Superstars, Raw and I dunno, Wrestling Challenge or something. But overall a decent game to me.

I think this time in the WWE games history had games that had a purpose but didn't quite know what their place. LOW & All Stars were arcade style entry level games that should have great been for a younger audience while SVR should have been the annual simulation style game that is for a mature audience with more violence, weapons etc and more in depth game modes.

I mean it made no sense to not have him he is a Wreslemania Legend in every sense of the world all I have to say is Steamboat VS Savage. Another reason why Showdown Legends of Wrestling was way MORE BETTER. An also the gameplay in LOW was not a good thing if only that just use SVR 09s gameplay. Once again AMAZING Vid ❤

I wanted this to be the "proper"... or officially licensed version of "Legends of Wrestling"... which despite it's glaring flaws, I actually had quite a bit of fun with... still do. Love the roster, and they nailed the feel of the old territory days. Oh, how disappointed I was when "Legends of Wrestlemania" came out... and after a day, I felt like I would rather go back to "LoW". Haven't played "LoWM" since. Probably never will. I hate QTEs in the best of scenerios... but they are insufferable in a wrestling game. What a terrible idea. It does look good, though.
