Shawn Michaels was such a gaslighter- accusing Bret of having Sunny days, when he was doing it himself

The reason why Shawn went there is because a recent prior segment had Shawn stand in the ring awkwardly while Bret went on and on running him down---until Raw literally went off the air. He had no ability to push back and looked weak and dumb. Even at the time, Shawn freely admitted he was a pain backstage. But the rule of the Kliq was that none of the heat should interfere with live business. When Bret decided to go off script and bury him, Shawn and HHH decided the gloves were off. Which ultimately led to the start of DX.
