Kurt is the cocky jackass in this situation, he broke Chris Nawrocki's ribs ragdolling him in an unscripted shoot, he then ignored Vince's orders to not pick Puder, who then ironically almost broke Kurt's arm, because what else was he supposed to do? Puder's case is so annoying and reveals how toxic the jealous veterans were at that point in time. It was Angle who went into business for himself by challenging Puder to a shoot fight. Puder then got punished because he easily owned Angle instead of the company running with it and pushing Puder for being a tough guy. The other petty bullies like Hollie, Benoit and Guerrero were all too happy to use that as an excuse to gang up on someone who would have destroyed them in a 1v1. Puder's run is one of these cases that just boils by piss, wrestlers punished for no reason by jealous old guys and inept bookers, same with Hassan.

@jamiek97802 ай бұрын
I’m not saying you’re wrong, but with the backstage politics and mentality at the time (main eventers having huge egos and expecting everyone beneath them to be perfect) I wouldn’t be surprised if Kurt thought Puder should know to accept the match and let Kurt win. In other words, “if he doesn’t know how to handle this, he shouldn’t be here”. If Puders instinct was to make Kurt look bad on live TV when he’s the rookie, that would be a major red flag to his own reputation. It wasn’t just the match with Randy Orton that ruined Kennedy’s career. Kennedy also injured John Cena in a match that gave John a torn pectoral muscle. My two guesses on why Randy got Kennedy fired are 1.) Kennedy made Randy land on a nerve or muscle on his back that made Randy think that he landed on his head and John Cena backed up Randy by saying that he also thought Kennedy was reckless. 2.) Randy was a little threatened by Kennedy’s potential to be a main eventer. Both are just as likely. But unless you’re in the position of Randy or Kennedy, you can never know for sure.

What the hell are you talking about? You don't get a "bigger impact" by "changing your hands", or whatever BS you're trying to say. I actually trained under Dory and Terry Funk, so let me clue you in on a little something, kid. The impact from a slam comes from the force of the slam, not your hand positioning. I can perform the same move on you, repeatedly, using different holds and grips, and still slam you as hard or as soft as I want. Not only that, but BOTH performers have to work together to make any more work. At least 8 out of 10 botches are because the person taking the move didn't jump, push off, or rotate correctly. A special performer, like Jericho or Cena, can adjust on their own, to compensate for such things. Instead of pushing nonsensical rhetoric, try finding a school and learning how this business works.

If you’re using injuries then Rick rude and curt hennig should be included.

DLO never slipped on a drink at all. He has debunked these claims on numerous occasions in interviews over the years.

So all this time it was Sim Snuka who was the cameraman on HBK vs Taker? I thought it was Cena's favorite cameraman, Stu 😂

@@The_Shining_wizard That serious slash across the back he took in the match with Tanahashi was pretty gnarly though.

@@jamieclarke846 I forgot about that match being so rough . He still did a great job of keeping himself safe for the most part. He got injured like every year he was in wwe unfortunately. That run was sad

Ken Kennedy was just in the unfortunate spot of being the middle man amongst a bunch of hot headed up and comer primadonnas.

Goldberg is well-known to be stiff in the ring, he's reckless and unsafe to work with. He didn't just end Bret Hart's career but also the Undertaker after doing that shitty jackhammer..

I was such a fan of Mr Kennedy, and when he was fired I was really surprised. I guess he was his own worst enemy, but that guy had a great gimmick and look back then.

I don't agree with Ken not having the same "shine" in TNA that he had in WWE I think he did very very well in TNA and was a top star the whole time he worked there.

Kennedy vs angle that's all you need to say he was an awesome heel who you really loved to hate to say that after wwe he didn't capture his potential is a bit right and wrong but that angle feud it looks to me that randy and cena saw his potential to eclipse both maybe true maybe not they didn't take any chances and got him fired imo

So he ruins Kennedys career for something that was actually Randys fault but then let’s someone like Goldberg who isn’t safe either squash Kevin and bray to win the universal title which was a stupid decision

There’s no telling how far Bret’s career could’ve gone if Goldberg hadn’t kicked him… WCW closed like 18 months later and he wasn’t going back to WWE😂😂 His career was over anyway lol
