I want him to be consistent and act like someone who has been involved with professional wrestling his entire life. Someone with his level of experience in wrestling knows you dont just blow up teased storylines and make awkward face turns. Either way, I remain confident that The Rock *wants* to wrestle at least 1 more match but the clock is ticking as he heads towards his mid-50s so we'll see if it actually happens.

It all sounds like Netflix got really involved with the debut episode. From all the old timer appearances, to all the back-slapping Netflix partnerships and shots of the Netflix executives. That’s why HHH said next week will be back to business as usual. I’m sure he would have rather debuted Penta and brought in Becky too. Netflix screwed up already by forgetting that they paid for a wrestling show and only putting 4 matches in 3 hours.

​@PatLund Roman/Solo was decent but should've been clean cut without all the convoluted interference; Which I thought was a key factor in the "Tribal Combat" concept. Ya know, a sacred and honorable fight where both competitors go at it alone to determine a decisive victor. The interference was too over the top regardless. McIntyre/Jey was okay but it was just another Monday Night Raw match that they've had like 2 times already. Liv/Rhea was also just okay. Rhea getting the Belt back was delayed and drug on so long that she lost all her return/revenge momentum, the win felt flat... and personally Liv was killing it as Champ and her character work, far more than Rhea did as Champion. Punk/Rollins was great. I'm surprised Rollins lost* and even more surprised it was an interference-free, non-convoluted, clean victory for their first one-on-one.

Its not that it changes its that you guys have very selective hearing. Go back and listen closely to when hes announced on RAW and watch closely the backstage. The Rock was announced in his official roles of The Director of The board(Chairman) and The Final Boss of WWE=he makes all final WWE decisions. Now to break that down more Vince had those roles before. Stop expecting him to always be about cutting a promo and allow him to also be about celebrating a huge sucess of a company he is The Final Boss of.

The show could have done without Hogan, without Cena, without Taker taking up what could have been precious match time from matches that could have been. Even Rock's promo could have been shortened . It's like when AEW had Jeff Jarrett come out and spend like 15 mins saying a whole lot of nothing then walk off. In regards to Rock and Cody, I think as the man on the board of directors, he can give Cody his props without affecting in character stuff.

I doubt they ever planned to have the I.C title match on that episode. Sure, they only had 4 matches booked for the entire 3 hour card. But they clearly had a vision on what they wanted to showcase for this brand new audience/platform etc, they likely didn't have enough faith in Dakota and Lyra to match anywhere near the level of the other matches, and probably when it comes to starpower especially. (I'm not sh!tt!ng on the girls, I love Kai, I used to watch her in small halls in Wellington. One of her friends is my Coach also. Nothing but respect, I'm just trying to think like a big corporation would)

My hopes for this years’ mania (Without the Rock) -Jacob Fatu overtakes bad bloodline from Solo, giving Solo some time off, and at Mania we get Roman vs Jacob Fatu -Cena wins Royal Rumble, we get Cena vs Cody for the title, and If people cheer more for Cena than they do Cody, and if Cena goes over, it would be the PERFECT opportunity to take Cody and do a mega-Heel turn. -Now, as for Cm Punk, I hope he does something unprecedented and wins Elimination Chamber, and uses it to insert himself into a world title match with Gunther. Given Gunther’s methodical yet brutal pacing, I think it’ll keep Punk on a match more to his own pacing, as he was never a fast wrestler anyways. Punk, in his own way, is also more of an old school heel. Not gonna hope for an Austin vs Punk fantasy match cuz it would be so damned forced in with everything going on right now. Punk has at least name dropped Gunther a few times. I say give them a last man standing match. Maybe have it end with one of them getting to their feet to the 2nd turnbuckle just in time to beat the count. And for Seth, I wanna see Seth vs Drew (but as of right now, I feel like we will get the blow off finale to punk vs seth). Anyways those are just my ideas, but I’m not the booker, so…🤷‍♂️

For me; Rock should have stayed Final Boss and attacked Roman at the end. Liv should have retained her title. And since this was Raw and Gunther is its champion, he should have been heavily featured instead of totally ignored. They should of had the final match for the Raw IC title tournament actual the show. I still think Natalya should still be in this and win it.
