Peacock has no reach outside US. Netflix is the way to go for the WWE product to get further distribution outside US and capitalize a broader audience and operate without the PGTV restrictions

I think alot of people forget that for the longest Vince Mcmahon fought the network for years to give us attitude era type shows weekly until he just didn’t have it in him to fight them anymore and just gave them the family friendly content that they wanted. I hate how he gets most of the hate for the lackluster weekly shows from the 2010’s to around the time he exited the company because alot of it was due to USA network as well to please advertisers

Most WWE weekly Television has been locked behind a TV paywall in Europe and the UK. Moving to Netflix is going to open up the product to millions

Im pretty sure here in Portugal we get every single WWE show and PLE on Netflix. The product will be a lot better, less commercial, no more commercial breaks in matches, no more shite like not seeing Liv´s kiss, if the show needs to go 3h10 min or just 2h40 min, no problem. Streaming is just better.

Yes. For anyone outside the US the network will merge with Netflix. Similar to how the Peacock merge was. Except all the live shows will also be on Netflix. In the US Raw with be on Netflix, USA will have Smackdown, CW will have NXT, and Peacock will have the PPVs and archives. There is the possibility once the Peacock deal ends in the US then the WWE part will move to US Netflix. Smackdown and NXT will still be on their respective channels

It’s not on broadcast television, it’s on cable and satellite. Broadcast television would be local channels, I.e. Fox, NBC, ABC, etc.

i think the move to netflix was a good and bad idea on wwe's part. most people are switching over from cable to streaming so it doesn't seem reasonable anymore for the company to continue their partnership with usa network but it is a bit confusing to have wwe content spread across multiple different services and networks (peacock, fox, cw, etc.). i'm not sure if this will benefit them in the long run especially when it comes to having casual viewers tune in but we'll see
