Like most people, I have been horrified by Trump's cabinet choices. Just this minute, though, I thought to myself what a shambles professional politicians have been making of running the WORLD! It seems to many that any individual who pursues politics in government as a career choice should be specifically banned from holding office. I agreed with Cordwainer Smith's proposal that amateur legislators (ie Congresspeople and MPs) should be chosen by lottery from their local district, state or county, however, Trump's seemingly random selections will provide interesting insight into a similar situation. On the downside, we know the opinions and track records of some of Trump's picks, and some do appear to be professional nutjobs. And they are all "yesmen".
