In the Invasion storyline they should have brought Bischoff back as WCW's owner and had Heyman as ECW's owner. Shane and Stephanie had nothing whatsoever to do with either company so making them kayfabe owners of WCW and ECW just because they were Vince's son and daughter was nothing but nepotism. It should have been all 3 companies against each other too not WCW and ECW vs WWF like it was. Vince also should have bought out the Time Warner contracts of the bigger WCW stars like Sting, Goldberg, Hogan, Hall, Nash and so on and brought them in instead of being a cheapskate and only bringing them all in years after The Invasion ended. Hell the NWO could have been brought in as lone wolves who were against WWF, WCW and ECW.
@MS-it9vv4 жыл бұрын
It is probably the single biggest missed opportunity in the history of wrestling. We could have had a new Monday night war, and WWE could have laughed all the way to the bank, winning on both sides. But, as with everything he touches, WWE instead chose to make it all about McMahons. It was obvious what the fans wanted, but it was also obvious that McMahon and creative didn't care what we all wanted.
@MINERVAtheDREAMEATER2 жыл бұрын
I agree but i definitely think the invasion would have gone a little better if stephanie kayfabe owned WCW and shane owned ECW since he was always jumping off of shit. Probably would have gotten messed up either way but would have made slightly more sense.

There best bet would have been waiting to do it till most of the bigger WCW guys big money deals with Turner had finished so they could bring them the main issue was there was no one in WCW who was on par with Rock Austin and the like if they had got WCW back on tv like the original idea and build them up then do it you might have a working angle
