From Shut Your Mouth down to SD vs. Raw 2008 will always remind me to my younger brother Jacob. We loved WWE & these games. For years. This January I lost him to a heart attack. 26 yrs old. Leaving behind his 4 girls under age 8 and 1 on the way. These reviews make me miss him so much more every day. I love you brother, I’ll always miss you, and never stop loving you.

I went to buy a used copy of this from a local shop only to get home and find shut your mouth in it so I can't tell ya although I only wanted to buy it because it had the elimination chamber match

When I first heard of the game in 2020, it became my mission to get the game, only to find out I had a basic phone to play it on an emulator😢 and I became obsessed about getting to play HCTP one day.... Fast forward to now, I got a bigger and better phone and I was able to "finish my story" and play HCTP and I was ecstatic when I played it for the first time and it was awesome. After playing Season mode, I have to say my favourite storyline was me as Edge vs Mr [REDACTED] McMahon😂. This is truly a masterpiece of a game and deserves to be among the greatest video games of all time

Great video m8 🙌 I also remember being blown away by the Elimination Chamber back in the day! Although No Mercy was the better game for me, they got the Royal Rumble spot on with this one by enlarging the screen.

Another great video man, always love hearing what you have to say. This was at the tail end of my wwf fandom but this game was so much fun in multi-player. Super easy to pick up and play and we loved the weapon shots. Could only imagine what this story mode in the aki engine would be like.

Yeah man i dont think im hat far behind you in terms of fandom coming to an end. Was around about the time Eddie passed i found it difficult to keep up with the product more or less becoming a part time fan untill the incident with Benoit happened, well then i hardly watched it at all. Also when i did it just didnt feel the same, i believe it was heavilly on the decline the following years after.

Ric Flair didn't have his song either. They just gave him Evolution theme. Roddy Piper and Slaughter made sense to include in the game as they actively wrestled sometimes in 2003. Legion of Doom as well because they wrestled Kane and RVD in 2003. Even Snuka being in makes sense as I believe he also appeared in 2003 in a storyline involving Rikishi i think. The others like george steele, hillbilly jim, iron shiek kinda did seem to be random though. Classic taker was nice to have but i'd have preferred a different wrestler and not have the same guy in 2 slots.

Nice inclusion none the less, just glad they got proper representation in regards to entrances in later games that followed.

@@the16bitprick36 In the next game Smackdown vs. RAW Batista's theme is replaced with Evolution and Ric Flair gets a knock off version of his theme.

My only complaint about HCTP is no commentary or ring announcer. Really hurt the presentation factor, but other than that, all time classic on the gameplay front.

Takes time to perfect things, like you say though classic gameplay so its easy to forgive.

I wasn't a fan of the roster as much as the previous game but the rest of the additions were great for the time.

Here Comes The Pain is a great, great WWE game . As for Rumble Roses , it is fun. Not much depth or match types . But ut us fun for a short time. Smackdown engine and hot animated chicks. How can you go wrong ? 😂😂

You got attacked by Triple H cuz he had a higher overall lol. If your opponent has a higher overall, and you decide to attack him, tbat basically happens. Best wrestling game IMO.
