Absolutely loved the main event. The story of Roman Reigns and CM Punk butting heads and then eventually, begrudgingly, getting along was great. Match of the night was the triple threat. Gunther vs Damien was merely fine, I was happy Shinsuke won but the match was meh. The women's war games was awful. It makes sense that there's a women's rumble, elimination chamber, and MITB because those are stipulation matches to become no.1 contender, win a title, and win a briefcase. War Games should exclusively be a storyline match type. If there's not a good enough storyline, you shouldn't do it, just like Hell In A Cell. Just because the men had a War Games match doesn't mean the women needed one.

I didn't get anything from this program. They try to make Gunther loose his confidence after loosing to Cody and beeing so intimidated by Priest (guy witch he already beat and loose to Dominic not so long ago). Then on ppv he have classic Gunther match with working body parts and making his opponent fight from underneth so why dumb him down to look like oversize Miz for this storyline anyway ? No one looks more over after that. Start and stop feud with Balor for Priest is another story. Why go back to it and who's get elevated after working with Finn on main roster anyway ? Did their last match really "set the world on fire" ?

Now that NXT is on network TV, HHH and WWE need to raise its talent status. Raise up its championship belt enough to be able to put it around the waist of A-List wrestlers and it meaning something. That way make it easier to send big names over there and build up NXT. This is money. For example send John Cena to NXT for one big match as part of his farewell tour.

I worked at the event and was close to ringside. The crowd were I was were very much into it. The first match did drag on. But being able to chat to Gunther and one of my all time heroes, William Regal, was such a special moment for me. Regal was gracious and very polite. Some say never meet your hero’s, but I’m glad I did 👌🏽

A 5-match PLE format should be reconsidered. While it works well when all matches deliver, the entire event feels subpar if even one or two bouts fail to meet expectations. Adding 1-2 more matches could provide better balance and improve the overall quality.

The triple threat Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship match with Bron Breakker, Ludwig Kasier and Sheamus practically carried this Premium Live Event. Even with that, it was a very underwhelming event and easily the worst of the year. NXT Deadline next week will be far better. Shawn Michaels continues to prove every week that Paul Levesque-McMahon is a fucking clown that has no business making creative decisions. If Vince McMahon booked this event the majority of the fans would be shitting on it for lack of creative storytelling. No one wants to see Finn Balor and Damien Priest and everyone is tired Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, more so Rhea Ripley being booked like the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

When will WWE realize that gimmick matches require workhorses willing to take risks and perform high-impact moves, rather than traditional wrestlers? Stars like Nia, Bayley, Naomi, Candice, and even Raquel don’t bring much in terms of extreme moments. About the women’s U.S. title scene, as the tournament lineup suggests Bayley or Naomi might win, which doesn’t inspire confidence.

I know Tiffany wasn’t going to Cash-IN, I don’t think Tiffany will do it until Nia Jax turns on her with Candice’s help, then WWE will write Tiffany off Television for awhile and then at the end of a Nia Jax title match on Saturday Night Main Event or Royal Rumble Tiffany will make her surprising return Cash-In as a “Babyface” to knock Nia out with the Briefcase and go for the pin to finally win the WWE Women’s Championship, that’s my prediction and the only reason why WWE has to be waiting so long

Aside from the critiques of the women’s match, I also can’t say I like the finish. We really don’t need to continue the Rhea ripley liv Morgan storyline. It’s played out as much as it can and liv should just move on from it as the winner. She ended rheas reign due to injury. Captured the title from Becky in her absence. Upon coming back she not only successfully defended against Rhea multiple times but also stole her boyfriend and hijacked her faction. Yes we all get that Rhea is physically superior to liv but Rhea couldn’t be champ forever, she’s somewhat injury prone at this point and liv has done excellent heel work outfoxing her in the ring. Rhea hasn’t been able to get one over liv when it actually mattered. I get that Rhea pinning liv in the war games match is visually symbolic but it’s literally a hardcore cage match with 8 other participants. What bearing does it have on what would happen in a straight 1v1? Reminds me of when Seamus randomly beat big show in a lumberjack match after losing 3 consecutive times in title matches. Like so what? Sheamus didn’t get a title match after that and neither should Rhea after this. Back of the line Rhea, you’ve had your chance at liv and blown it too many times. New opponents are lining up already. It’s for these considerations I just think Rhea shouldn’t have pinned liv. If you want to have rheas team win as a gotcha on liv on the way out of the feud, have Rhea pin someone else on her team. Alternatively, have liv’s team win to finally end the feud.

All the rest of the women are going to be going after the ic and us women's title. Tiffy time should cash in on Liv to be honest. No one is more over right now than tiffy!
