I think smackdwn vs raw 07 was a very good wrestling sim. 2010 had great mvs & introduced my favorite create a story md. 2011 had best hardcore matches & had best ai of any wwe gm to date; altho it had a limited mv set.

This game is awesome. I have it for the wii and it's a big step up over svr 2008 and 2009. Fun match types (especially the new royal rumble), fun road to wrestlemanias (especially the created superstar one). It just seems they put more effort on the wii version of this game than the other wii version wrestling games.

With these blood physics it would be so awesome if only you could get different cuts on different spots of the head still the WWE game with the best blood physics exception being 2k22 because of how many different ways it can go cut on your forehead or right next to your eye or the side of your head shame it can't get on your body though

Well WWE SvR 2011 is the last WWE video game realeased for the PS2 and PSP. And WWE SvR 2010 is the last WWE video game featuring Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Carlito, Umaga, The Brian Kendrick, Tommy Dreamer, Jesse, and Maria as playable characters. And in WWE'12 HBK and Batista are both DLC (Downloadable Content)

I don't think this game is too bad. I liked it a heck of a lot better than 08 and 09. My only HUGE gripe is that they still have Road To Wrestlemania instead of Season Mode. Yes adding a CAW RTWM did help a bit, but I liked it better when you did pretty much the whole year rather than just from a month till Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania.

I hear you, WWE 12 is the reason why I didn't get WWE 13, I could think of better uses for sixty dollars, plus WWE 13 looks exactly the same as WWE 12 no thanks. Unless there are some changes, I'm happy with SVR 07-11.

raising your stats in 2010 is way better than 2009 you can select which attribute you want to raise and being able to raise stats even outside carreer mode i've lvld The Time Bomb to around 80 and i'm currently starting my 3rd title run the only thing carreer mode is for is for trophies and to unlock different abilities and this part was also greatly improved as now i can unlock an ability and not skip it meaning losing that specific ability untill i unlock it again which is great

@anthony190603 I don't think so, just not having the strong grapple sytem doesn't make this a bad game at all, this game still has a lot of potential.. The graphics are the best graphics in a wrestling game yet, the roster is really good, you can play this game forever because of downloadable storyline, you don't have to go through the same stories again and again, new stories, new content.. Let me finish with saying endless content..

@TheStrightEdge I have played SvR 2006 and only the modes and gameplay were very good, other things like HUD system, finisher system were only good.. while SvR 2010 has great modes, gameplay, roster, halo HUD and finisher system..

Creating Starman from the Nintendo's classic "Pro Wrestling" and other fictional wrestlers of the NES days sure was fun in SvR 2006. SvR 2008 was boring while 2009 was a step back in the right direction and 2010 looks even better. All that aside, I still believe THQ and Yukes need to completely revamp the fluidity of the game. I'm tired of the same dull animations and positioning needed to pull of moves. The series needs an overhaul in terms of gameplay - it needs a little more spontaneity.

This game isn't anywhere near great.. The gameplay is good, finally got a create a enterce video, and the superstar treads is good as well. But the create a finisher/superstar both are limited. Road to wrestlemania and career mode both need to go. And I seriously dont want to sit around for hours creating my own shows. I would much rather svr be all about CAW and a real career mode where you start out as a rookie and try to work your way up to the top. Also why cant you get kick pads? Gay

If you would've asked me two years ago I would've said Xbox, then I got a PS3 and everything changed. In my opinion the PS3 is so much better than the Xbox they just don't compare. But that's my opinion though I play my PS3 90% of the time My PS2 9.9% of the time, and my Xbox 0.1% of the time. BTW today I went to Gamestop and sold WWE 12, but I kept all of my other SVR games, for some reason the online doesn't work on then though...

you know if the 360,psp,and ps3 all have connection to the internet, why couldn't thq just say go online and we'll update the game for you such as add more characters and such. that would be WAAAAAAAAYYY better then wasting around 50 bucks each year only to find svr buffed up the graphics added more players and more features? besides 2011 will be the last svr game sold out and after that ppl will be asking for another svr game? wouldn't it be better just to update as we go?

The presentation and graphics will look great, but the controlls will take a while for you to get used to. I've been playing this series for a while, and lately, its been getting more and more difficult to explain how to grapple. First thing to do, Play a 2 player match by yourself, and just beat on the opponent until you figure out what does what. And NEVER lose the instruction book! Trust me, you'll need it. Hell, I still need it!

Sadly for the xbox 360 CAS's can only appear 10 times in your story. That means that if you use 2 CAS's 5 times each in your story, that equates to 10 times so you can't use another CAS for that story. But for the PS2 version you can use CAS's as much as you want, however you can only have 50 scenes/matches in each story. So this restriction for the 360 was put into place to give the PS2 more appeal. And personally, this pisses me off. : / They could fix this with a later dlc though. :)

Ok, so i was doing the road to wrestlemania with my created character that I made, then all of a sudden in week 6 or something, they changed the character on me to a different look.. 2011 needs a create your own submissions, and allow created characters to appear unlimited amout of times in create your own story bring back buried alive leave everything else from 2010 be for they are fine just the way they are and keep the new innovative physics engine I like it imagtion running in the ring off a ladder hitting a hurricarana.

So true, I think it's weird though, there is an online option on the menu but it doesn't work anymore I hit it and it says something like "cannot connect to online sever." THQ is stupid to shut it down the SVR online it was so much more fun than WWE 12's online

smackdown vs raw 2010 sucks for PS2. AI irish whip you in the corner and it keeps turning you, but without make a fuckin grapple. royal rumble: great performance and updates! but AI still trying to eliminate you too many times, and is almost impossible you counter a finisher.
