WWE are idiots for copyright striking videos like this. Wrestling Bios is what got me back into wrestling and also got me to subscribe to Peacock so I could go back and watch old matches conveniently. Very shortsighted on their part.

Austin just can't catch a break at Summerslam events. 1996 - Had to do King of the Ring rematch despite winning the event prior. 1997 - He broke his neck. 1998 - had to work through the entire 20 min match after a concussion from Taker. 1999 - This 32:19

I think The Rock's promo on Billy Gunn was overrated. I don't personally believe it killed his push. Yes, he shouldn't have won the KOTR. But his career picked back up with DX after his feud with The Rock. When he got injured in early 2000 and came back. WWE didn't have anything for him. Especially since DX pretty much disbanded by the summer of 2000

WWE should buy the Reliving The War once the series is completed, so much detail is explained and a lot of context is given to the viewer. Sounds like a reach but I'd be curious to see how community crossovers would work.

The Hardy Boyz as the New Brood feels like a fever dream lol I remember it happening but it just felt like out of nowhere with no real payoff... then they had the Hardys win the T.I.T. later in the year. I dunno why they kept throwing managers and gimmicks at them over and over again during that era. They basically had 3 managers in 1999.

It's disappointing that Chris Jericho didn't get to wrestle as there were probably more than a few fans from his hometown in Winnipeg (since it's only a 7 hour drive between the two cities) that were likely in attendance.

Mankind winning was the right way to go. It made Triple H much more of a threat because since he lost, he was going to stop at nothing in order to get the belt. I felt that him winning the next night didn't do him any favors. Instead, he should've taken out Mankind the next night hence giving up the belt due to injury and still having the six pack or even five or four pack challenge for the vacant belt and HHH winning it. Austin and HHH still have their match at No Mercy with HHH going over and at Survivor series, Instead of Big Show being the replacement for Austin, Mankind would return and replace him and face HHH and the Rock for the belt with Mankind winning the belt. HHH still has his rivalry with Mcmahon and soon after wins the belt from Mankind, hence kicking off their feud and their matches at Royal Rumble and No Way Out still occur.
