Reboot the hell out of that sucker. They just need a script that gives the family something to cry about = what the show was so good at. I think it could work today especially with emotional issues being big and the almost exotic appeal of family that argues but deeply loves each other. It doesn't have to be about still mourning their parents but maybe the lasting effects of having to raise each other and who they are in the world because of it? God I loved that show...

Evan Green I didn't see it when it was in syndication, I don't think I was even born but I've watched it online. I really like the series and I agree with you, they're adults now with a whole new set of issues and would make great TV.

If they revived party of five and showed Bailey and Sarah reunited and in love and married and all, then I will see it. Because even though Charlie ended up with Kirsten, and Julia ended up with Justin. I felt bad for Claudia, Bailey and Sarah.

If u think about it, This Is Us is sort of a rip-off of Party of Five. A very depressing show with a few happy moments scattered throughout.

Wouldn't make any sense? If they did a movie it's not like it would have to be about them still not being over their parents death. We just need a kind of where are they now. Maybe a holiday movie..the Salinger's all coming together for Christmas. After all that is what Julia and Claudia promised each other, that they would always come back home for the important moments.

I heard they are going to do a reboot but its a Latino family which in my opinion im not really digging. It's like they jusy slapped on the same name of a completely different story. I wish they would do the same family and remix it. I'll give an example of what I mean by a remix. Ok, like the walking dead tv show for an example it is based on the comic book version but has different remixes like changing different situations of characters. Yes Party of Five is not a apocalyptic show but I was giving an example. Because if it was the same I would feel it wouldn't be any surprises. The reboot should be based on the 90s version but has its own version of some situation's. Bailey (Scott) should keep his drinking problem though it was one of the best stories in the show in my opinion. Of course Scott is to old to play a teen again but hes so hot and don't look his age.
