One of the things Heartstopper is so good at is dealing with difficult subject matter in a sensitive but honest way. I can imagine how triggering discussion of an issue that you yourself have dealt with can be, so I’m glad it is done in a responsible and beautiful way. Thank you for your honest and vulnerable reaction, which I’m sure will be helpful to some who watch this video. I think this is a particularly strong episode, as are the remaining two, and I look forward to your reactions to the rest of the season.

well said ☺️ the show definitely does an amazing job touching every topic it brings up and it’s just beautiful and delightful thing to witness. the remaining two episodes are also phenomenal and done VERY well. I’m excited to begin editing that one soon!! And thank you so much for your kind words and presence.

5:38 I love this whole scene, from Nick’s response, “You jealous?” to Harry actually sticking up for them (after Isaac’s scolding) to Nick’s/Kit’s line, “You do know it was me, right?” I love how Kit delivered that line with just the right amount of light teasing and love. Kit’s acting is so authentic!

First, sending love. Second, as someone whose dad is like Nick’s dad I tend to not tell him anything. It does get hard though when it come to my younger half siblings. They grew up with him so they sometimes don’t understand why I don’t really treat him like a dad, cause they don’t understand that me and our dad don’t have a relationship. My dad doesn’t know me and I don’t really care at the age of 30 to try and form a one sided relationship. All that to say I understood Nick’s disappointment and I know what that relationship is like. Lastly, “call me a grilled cheese” sent me.
@wwhn Жыл бұрын
thank you so muchhh for your looooveee 🥰 and I get that wholeheartedly. I myself love the same life essentially. The younger siblings just really have to understand that the version of the dad they have isn’t the version that we as the older siblings got. And that may have come with the parent maturing over the years and righting the wrongs but it’s still a fact that the two versions of them are not the same. And listennnnn I literally crack myself up. I really say anything. Lol

Oh Nick very much knowingly pushes Elle and Tao together - several times - the way he looks at Elle and smirks after he talks about just feeling and not needing to understand.

I remeber when i watched the episode where charlie fainted that when they showed Elle and Tao i kept expecting to see an ambulance or something for charlie in the background and for them to realize "that looks like charlie- WAIT! THAT IS CHARLIE". Im honestly suprised how lowkey the teachers kept Charlie fainting. I once had to call my dad to let him know i got a bandaid from the school clinic because none of the nearby classrooms had and yet Charlie FAINTS on a school field trip miles away and no one thinks to call his parents. Don't get me wrong, i understand that it probably would have opened the door for charlies parents to force him into eating properly and actually driving him away more which would have lead to more problems but he literally FAINTED.

TW: ED Even tho it's hard at times to watch Charlie struggle with ED, I'm still very glad they included that. It's so important to show and speak about because in real life SO many people struggle with eating disorders.. It's often is misinterpreted or writers make ED disappear once the character is in a relationship.. Which is not how it works. I'm also very glad they showed that men too can have eds and this is honestly the first show (that I've seen) to accurately represent that. I myself have been struggling with it for years and I'm glad they showed how to support someone who struggles the right way. I already loved nick so much but now I love him even more ♡♡ he's the best!! So caring and loving and it's exactly what Charlie deserves ♡♡

In Charlie's case, I don't think it is a matter of Charlie wanting to lose weight, I think it is a matter of him wanting to disappear. 'If I'm thin enough, they won't see me.' Like an animal making itself smaller to avoid being noticed by a predator.

So I have I am the new subscriber to your channel, but I go with an order as well disorder and I also got boys because I am and I was in middle school. I used to get by all the time when I was really considering that but my friend Ava does have an order as well but also she is right now and it’s pretty bad she has Just I’m bullied. I meant all my school years. I’m bowling a lot about my body as well and I am getting married I am engaged this boy know about, but he still either way on my journey of being. Lesbian I got my confidence back by this girl Chloe, who got my confidence back on my last year of high school so the way it feels with not eating nuts what I go through every day my anus started to come after my dad passed away and that’s when my anus started. I am 19 now and I still go and I still go through it every day like Charlie does, but I get through work because I have amazing support in my life especially my husband. My husband is my the one I am hearing he’s super supportive of everything so like a supportive friends and family but at my brother and one of my oldest friends and I have never been able to tell the rest of my family because half of my family is also Jewish. I have spent hour before by one of my old best friends who were betrayed me as well.
