Well, Johnny, you have knocked it out of the park again with your modeling skills and artistic license. Looking forward to seeing the next installment and while I have not built this particular kit, I do have some truck kits where I can benefit from following your hobby skills. Thanks again for bringing your unique brand of modeling ever Friday. Greatly appreciated.

Great video Johnny..I like how you’re going to add rope around the edges of the canvas and your filing is a good idea..The kit is looking more interesting in its details every week..Have a great week and all the best 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Hi Paul, yes, I thought it would look a bit odd without the rope for the canvas, I wonder why model companies never include options for this feature. But that's ok, we'll do our best to fix it, LOL. Thanks for watching, have a great weekend and keep on modeling my friend! Johnny

Everything is coming along very nicely Johnny, Those seam lines will hopefully have vanished once you sand out the Perfect Plastic Putty. Looking forward to next week and the start of the painting process. Have a good weekend.

Thanks Les👍it's coming along slowly. I just want to think everything out carefully, especially when it comes to adding modifications to the kit. I think it'll all work out tin the end 🥺. Take care buddy, have a great weekend!! Johnny

Hi Johnny, build seems to be progressing nicely. A couple of other YT builders have said that the first drill bit you used is not good for plastic because the helix on them makes them screw into the plastic rather than cut through it.
@hillbillymodeling3 ай бұрын
Hi Simon, these bits that I like to use are very sharp and bite into the soft plastic easily. Being a mechanic all my life and having used countless drill bits I can tell you that any bit that has spiral flutes can screw themselves into the material, this usually happens when the bit is about to exit the back of the piece being drilled. I will say that because of the sharp cutting tip they will bite into the plastic more readily, so if you are looking to drill shallow holes using a less aggressive flute is recommended. Thanks for the comment, have a great weekend and model on!! Johnny

Nice work with all the fiddly bits, Johnny! But I am surprised you didn't check the fit of the canvas cover and the the truck bed while the TET was still flexible. After all, you are "Mr. Alignment" - what happend? 🙂 What a cliffhanger for Part 4!!!
